The CUG is located in Gandhinagar and it provides different under graduate and post graduate programs in the fields of science, arts, commerce, engineering. The basic requirement for admitting oneself in the bachelor degree courses is the completion of the class 12 exams with 50% marks and above obtained from the recognized board. Such entrance tests like CUET, JEE Main are for admission into programs such as BTech, BA, BSc, and BCom. Some of the programs also provide options for national level tests such as CLAT for admission.
The university also provides courses in faculties/schools of Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences & Management, Natural & Applied Sciences, Technology, Business & Commerce, Education, Law. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Identity and address proof in the form of Aadhaar card/ PAN card/ Voter ID card / passport/ driving license/ ration card.
2. Acceptable Identification: Passing certificate and marksheet of class 10th with date of birth and name of subjects studied as proof of eligibility and academic background.
3. Pass certificates and mark sheet of class 12 with information about the subjects taken by the candidate and the marks scored by him/her to verify the academic qualification of the candidate.
4. Degree certificate and Consolidated mark sheet, if the candidate has completed graduation for academic clearance.
5. Certificate of proof of residence, domicile and proof of identity in the state, income certificate, community or caste certificate for candidates for quota eligibility for the reserved categories.
6. For students who formerly studied in another institution and wish to transfer to Central University of Gujarat, it is mandatory to present a migration certificate from the previous college or university.

3. CUG Entrance Exam – Take the Common University Entrance Test (CUG-ET) in various centers. It has 100 questions out of them are multiple choice questions.

1. Qualification –Candidates having a Master’s degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks will be considered eligible.
