CURAJ is a central university situated in Ajmer, Rajasthan and is considered to be among the leading universities in the nation. It was established in 2009, and it is approved under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC while it is NAAC accredited with B++ Grade. CURAJ was placed between 101-150 of the overall NIRF ranking in 2023 ranking among universities in India.
It undertakes programmes of study across fields at the undergraduate, postgraduate and even doctoral levels. Some of the well-known courses they offer are B.Tech, MBA, MA, M.Sc and PhD in various discipline like Engineering and Technology, Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Law and Education. The admission process usually begins in may every year and the examinations are held in June for undergraduate programs and July for postgraduate programs. As for the admission examination, it has not been announced by the university when they are going to conduct the examination for the year 2024.

The mean wage rate for the respondents is 620000 INR per annum or 51,833 INR per month and the median wage rate is 500000 INR per annum or 41,667 INR per month. Even last year during pandemic the percentage of eligible students getting placed was more than 75% which proves that the kind of talent CURAJ churns out. The Placements are coordinated by a Placement Cell which conducts pre-placement talks, training, mock tests etc and is also involved in the final selection process.

Central University of Rajasthan Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Bachelor's degree: Class 12 pass with 50% (45% for reserved candidates) in their respective stream; some programmes may have written test of the Institute as well.
2. Master's degree: A minimum of 50 – 55 % marks in bachelor’s program depending on course; few courses require entrance test scores.
3. MPhil: The following entry level requirements have been established: Master’s degree of at least 55% marks.
4. PhD: A pass in master’s degree examination with at least 55% of the total marks and qualified in the entrance test as per TNTEU norms.
5. Integrated programs: High School Diploma /Graduation: Pass class 12 with 50-60% marks depending on the program; other program-specific criteria may apply.

The placement cell of the Central University of Rajasthan especially looks after the recruitment of its students by the different reputed companies. The leading companies that offer placements to their employees from JEE Main include Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. The maximum offer given in campus placement is about Rs 18000/- per month whereas average package of the companies comes to Rs 4000/- to Rs 6000/- per month. Of the total number of students, 75% from engineering, management, sci-ence, and humanities streams got placed through campus interviews in the previous academic year.
