There are numerous departments in Chaitanya (Deemed to be University) which is located in Warangal and these provide different courses of engineering, medical, arts and sciences, pharmacy etc., and the admission criteria are different in every case. Specifically for engineering courses like CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Civil the minimum pass requirement is the 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or its equivalent examination and must have at least 50% marks in aggregate. Medical courses offered include the MBBS and BDS and the candidate must have passed in physics, chemistry and biology in the 12th board exams with at least 50%. For B.Pharm course qualification is 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as passing subject combination. The admission to the university is based on merit through qualifying competitive entrance examination of JEE Main, EAMCET, NEET, GPAT etc for the respective under graduation courses.
It has a wide programm and specializationofferings in field of Engineering, Medical Sciences/Pharmacy, Sciences, Arts/Management, Allied Health Sciences etc. The entry to most of the programs is done through national/ state level entrance exams. Some of the exams such as JEE Main, NEET UG, and TS EAMCET 2023 are in the calendar January – June month. According to the examination, the counseling and admission process begins whereby one has to fill an online form with the necessary documents and present them for verification and web counseling as per the dates. The seat allotment result will be declared once again and the admission process and document verification will be conducted at the university nodal centers. The classes for the new academic year admission usually start by 3rd week of August every year after getting over with all admission formalities by July end.

For online application, you can register through the university official website at http://www.chaitanyauniversity.edu.in and select the admission tab. To apply for your preferred course, go to the ‘Programs’ tab and locate the program that interests you, then click on the ‘Apply Now’ button. Apart from the home page you need to signup by entering your email id and mobile number to login to the application form. Ensure that all details requested for are completed appropriately with personal details and academics and accompany the form with necessary documents as required. You may make the application fee payment through credit/debit card or through net banking etc., Save the form and take a printout of it for further use.
To apply in person, one needs to get the prospectus and application form from the university’s admission office on the basis of a fee charge. Complete the form and enclose certified copies of documents necessary for the realization of the agreement. Enclose the application along with the processing fees and deposit it in the admissions section or post it/ courier the same to the office of the Registrar before the last date. This makes the application undergo a rigorous process before students who are selected for the next level of admission are informed to undergo further processes like counseling sessions and or interviews. To further formalize enrollment, pay the partial/full fees based on whatever the school requires.
- It is important to note that admissions are done with regards to the scores obtained in Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
- To pursue the CUET, the candidates have to clear the exam by passing the minimum standard marks set by the University. In this context, CUET scores are used as the criteria for shortlisting.
- Since CUET is for admissions into UG programs, it should be noted that reservations category students like SC, ST, OBC, EWS, etc., may get certain leeway in the minimum percent they have to secure in CUET.
- Other than CUET examination, there might be other requirements from the University which the candidates have to fulfill such as minimum qualification or age criteria etc.
- The students will be finally selected according to the candidate’s performance on CUET, availability of seats for the program, conformity to the eligibility criteria, docs verification, and most importantly the availability of seats in the specific category of reservation.
- The Universities will declare cut-off percentages and hold counselling phases for provisional admissions as per this timetable. The CUET score usually serves as the basis for seat allocation coupled with category-wise merit list, and other preferences filled by the candidates etc.

6. In this respect, pay the application fee online by using debit/credit card or any other means available online.
7. Fill, verify and forward the CU Warangal bcom application form. It is advisable to download it or take a print out of the final submitted form for convenience and easy access.
8. This can be done by checking the admission status by using the login details at least daily. However, for students who are admittted, go through the admission process by providing any other necessary documents and payment of any fees as may be required.
9. Ensure to adhere to the instructions as well as the laid down application deadlines as stated on the website. Fill accurate details. Sometimes, forms may not be filled in the right way, or may even be filled only partially, and this may lead to their rejection.

- The admission is done on merit of the candidate as per their scores in the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical (Pharmacy, Veterinary etc.) Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) conducted by JNTU Hyderabad.
- Furthermore, the ranks secured in TS EAMCET, and the reserved and quota seats according to state government norms.
- B.Pharma course offered in CU Warangal has several specializations, and the total number of seats for this course are about 180.

- Thus, admissions to B.Sc programs are merit based and students are admitted to various programs depending on their marks in 10+2 or its equivalent examination.
- For general category students, the requirement to get admission in any of the categories is 50% marks in the qualifying examination. However, for students coming under the reserved categories, it is a minimum of 45% in the entrance test.
- The admission is therefore competitive, that is, the higher the percentage obtained on the qualifying examination the higher the prospect of being admitted.
- If there is tie in the marks being awarded then the candidate may be given priority based on age, the candidate who has more marks in the relevant subject, the candidate who performed well in the entrance examination if conducted and so on.
- Besides the minimum percentage requirement in their 10+2 curriculum, students that will be seeking particular B.Sc programs must have studied certain subject areas.

5. The application fees must be paid online (if it is allowed). Fee can be paid by Net banking, credit card, UPI or any other means available.
6. Ensure that you have copied and pasted the completed application form and also save or print the acknowledgement slip.
7. In case, you are shortlisted for the course, then you have to sit for the entrance test/ interview as required on the date and time so specified.
8. One should go to the university website, check the admission list once it is put up to know whether you have been selected or not.
9. After being selected, ensure that you sign all admission related forms, produce additional documents, and pay relevant fees within the set time.
