Chhattisgarh University is a state university that was established in Chhattisgarh, India and particularly in Raipur. It was established in 1985 and it has the recognition of the University Grants Commission UGC. It is clear that Chhattisgarh University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a B grade. As per the NIRF Rankings 2023, announced recently Chhattisgarh University has been placed in the 151-200 band in the University Rankings in India.
It provides different courses for its undergraduate and postgraduate levels in arts, sciences, commerce, education, engineering and technology, management and faculty. BA, BSc, BCom, BTech, MTech, MSc, MA and MBA are some its popular courses that attract many students. The admission process begins in May every year after releasing the application forms to the students. University holds entrance examination for the state level in June –July for admissions intake.

Chhattisgarh University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Successfully completed 10+2 examination or any other equivalent examination from any recognized board, university or institution, securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate for the candidates belonging to General category.
2. General: Minimum 50% aggregate marks, SC/ST/OBC: Minimum 45% aggregate marks.
3. The candidate should have no backlogs or compartment in any of the subjects in 10+2 exams to be admitted in the college.
4. Ideally, the candidate should: Have passed English in the 10+2 level as per the program applied for, Physics, Chemistry Maths or Biology or Computer Science based on the program applied for.
Chhattisgarh University Placements 2024
Chhattisgarh University churned out stupendous placement figures. The companies which recruited maximum number of students were Infosys, which had an overall 22% placement and highest compensation of ? 18 lakh per annum, Tata Consultancy Services which placed 19% students with an average salary of ? 12 lakh per annum and Wipro which offered placements to 16% of the students and average remuneration of ? 10 lakh per annum. Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, and Accenture are some of the leading firms that shortlisted a good number of candidates.
