Chhindwara University is one of the new generation University of Madhya Pradesh situated in Chhindwara of Madhya Pradesh. It was set up in the year 2010 and the Government of Madhya Pradesh is behind this prestigious institution of higher learning. It has been recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been accredited with B ++ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). In terms of NIRF ranking 2023 of university, Chhindwara University was occupying 151 position among universities in India.
The university provides different courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study ranging from arts, science, commerce law, education and business. The prominent courses offered here are the BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, MA, MSc, MCom, LLB, BEd, MBA. The admission process begins from May every year and the students can join this institution after passing the common entrance test for admission in the state. According to the current calendar, the exams are to be conducted in June 2024. The selected candidates further undergo for the counselling programme to get their seats allotted and documents verified before they are admitted.

Chhindwara University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. All the candidates, who have cleared 10+2 examinations and have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in their respective examinations, are eligible for the undergraduate programs.
2. Minimum 50% marks in Bachelors’ degree for the Post graduation courses.
3. Reservation of 5% marks to the students of backward categories.
4. No age restriction applied to any of the candidates willing to apply.
5. Some programs require the candidate to sit for the entrance test and pass it.
