The Children’s University Gandhinagar has a vast array of courses in various streams across science, commerce, arts, and vocational fields. It is important to note that the eligibility may differ from one department to another. For the BSc programs in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, the qualification needed is 12th passed with minimum 50% marks in Science group. Commerce department offering BCom accepts 12th pass candidates from any stream with minimum 45% marks. BA programs in History, Economics, Psychology have been offered to arts stream candidates from 12th standard with pass marks. BCA is an example of a vocational programme that has the following entry requirements: The candidate must be a 12th pass, any group mathematics as an additional subject, minimum percentage of pass. Admission to all programs is based on qualifying exams which include CBSE, ICSE, State Boards and Diploma.
All the courses across streams such as BSc, BCom, BA, BCA have their end term examination schedule in the months of May-June every year. The interested candidates should look for the admission year website for the next year 2024 examination notification and apply online before the last date as specified. It is an assessment tool that entails on objective type questions which have been provided with multiple choice answers and to be answered within a given time frame by the students. The selected students would be notified to undergo other admission formalities such as document verification and fee payment based on merit list generated from the examination scores and the number of available seats. The admission process is fully online with university website and student dashboard to ease the whole process. After the approval of the management, the selected students can download the final allotment letter and identity card.

For admission to various programs online, the candidates can log on to the CUG official website at www.cug.ac.in and click on the ‘Admission’ link. Choose the course you want and complete the online registration through the online application form where you have to enter all the relevant information. Scan and upload photograph, signature, age proof etc as per the mentioned guidelines. Pay the application fees by completing the online payment process. After completing the form, it is advisable to download and print the confirmation page.
For offline admission, one need to visit the university administrative office and collect the application form. Complete it neatly, being as specific as possible with the personal and academic information. Enclose photocopies for required documents together with the original documents. Enclose the application form along with the admission / entrance test fees (Through DD or cash) to the Administrative Office, Children University Gandhinagar within the date mentioned above. Only the candidates who meet the above criteria will be issued admit card for the written test/interview.
