Cluster University, Srinagar is a public university which is affiliated with colleges situated in Srinagar of the state Jammu and Kashmir. It was set up in 2019 under the State Legislature Act and as of now, it has the NAAC Grade of B++. According to NIRF Ranking of 2023, it occupies the 151st position among all the universities in the India. The University is divided into 15 colleges and Institutes and it offers undergraduate programs, postgraduate programs, and research degrees.
It provides various courses within streams including arts, science, social sciences, education, management, law, and many others. Some of the general courses that are offered include BA, BSc, BCom, BBA and their masters such as MA, MSc, MCom, MBA as well as BEd and LLB. They have entrance tests that are administered by the university to select students to join the various programs.

Cluster University of Srinagar Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. The admission requirement for undergraduates requires that candidates complete 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
2. For postgraduate programs, candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in the relative focal area with minimum percentage marks as prescribed for the program.
3. As per govt. norms, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and physically handicapped candidates under reserved category will be given some leeway in cutoff percentage.
4. To augment their chances for admission, the Kashmiri migrant candidates have been provided 5% relaxation in cut-off percentages across the different programs.
5. In-service candidates should possess the required years of experience in the profession as desired for admission to some postgraduate diploma programs.
6. Overseas Citizen of India/Foreign national sponsored candidates also have a percentage reserved for their admission. They have to satisfy other requirements as required for the program before they can be allowed to participate.
Cluster University of Srinagar Placements 2024
The Cluster University of Srinagar’s placement figure is decent every year. During the placement session of 2024, approximately 65 organisations were engaged in the campus placement for numerous fields. Topping the list of recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra & L&T Infotech, which offered jobs mainly in IT-Software sector. The maximum salary offered was Rs 10 lakh per annum and the average salary of the students was about Rs 4 lakh per annum. The percentage of the students who got selected through campus interviews out of the total registered candidates were about 55%. The University has increased its tally in terms of numbers of companies visiting the campus as well as the salary packages offered in the last 3 years because of the quality of the students present in the University and vigorous efforts put in by the placement cell.
