CUSAT or the Cochin University of Science and Technology is a public state-run institute of technology situated in Kochi, the capital city of Kerala. It is a college that was established in the year 1971 and has been given an ‘A’ by NAAC re-accreditation. Ranked 41st in the University Category in NIRF India Rankings 2023. It has programs offered in science, technology, engineering, humanities, law, and management in 23 departments and 4 regional campuses. They currently operate over 300 colleges under them with 2500 faculty members to cater for 20000 students.
CUSAT is also a government university that offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees as well as doctoral degrees in various faculties of Science, Technology, and Engineering; Humanities; Law; and Management streams. Each of these levels features different undergraduate courses such as B.Tech degrees in Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Mechanical, Safety and Fire Engineering among others. Entry to these programs is by students' performance in the KEAM entrance test that will be done in April 2023.
