The Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) Visakhapatnam is a National Law University which recognizes two under graduate and two post graduate courses in the field of laws under various disciplines of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Laws 5 year integrated law programs require the candidates to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination having minimum 45% marks in aggregate. Recognized eligibility tests include CBSE/ICSE/State Board as well as Diploma. It has been admitted through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) as was set up to provided legal education. In addition to the Masters program, DSNLU also provides one-year LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Rights and WTO Studies.

Documents Required for Admission in DSNLU Visakhapatnam for Different Courses:
1. Check eligibility – Applicant must possess qualification of Master of Laws (LLM) and must have secured 55% or equivalent at this level.
2. Complete an application form – These are obtained online and are usually available in May-June. Details should be entered while completing the form, and the fee should be paid.
3. Go for entrance exam – There is a written test that is usually set as the entrance test. It examines the research prowess, understanding, analysis.
4. Attend interview – Candidates who have obtained high marks in the written test are interviewed in august.
5. Verify merit list - Candidates are selected based on the performance in the written test and interview held in August for the final merit list which is released online in the month of September.
6. Admission – The chosen candidates get admission by paying for the fees and presenting relevant documents. Classes start in October.

1. Academic qualifications - The candidate should have completed their bachelor’s degree with minimum of 45% marks for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
2. Online application – The official application forms can be downloaded from the website of the University and these are usually available in the months of May-June.
3. Take CLAT - Undergo the Common Law Admission Test, perform well and meet the standards set.
4. Counselling session scenario –Go for the counselling as per the CLAT score attained and select the specialization preferred.
5. Admission offer – If there is a seat vacancies according to the rank or category of the student, an admission offer letter is launched.
6. Full admission - Offer documents and make payment to secure an admission then register for the 5-year LLB program.
