Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Srikakulam provides various programs in Science, Commerce, Arts, Law, Education Management streams, etc at Under graduate and Post graduate levels. This usually depends on the different departments and course offered by the universities. To apply for B.Sc, candidates should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with at least 50% average marks. For B.Com, any stream with 12th standard pass is mandatory and the candidate should have obtained 50% marks. A BA in subjects such as Economics, History, English requires the 12th in the relevant stream with 50 percent. Integrated BEd program, qualification needed to enter the course is 12th pass with 50% marks. LLB in India allows admission after graduation with any stream with at least 45% marks. For MSc programs, the candidates are expected to have a relevant Bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks.
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam has made it easier for students to apply for the available courses by applying online in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. The interested candidates can send their applications through the online mode or offline mode by logging on to www.brau.edu.in.
The candidates are able to register themselves for the course, fill in the application form online, submit the required documents, pay the application fees and submit their application online. For offline application, the candidates will have to download the application form that is available on its website. Application forms properly and completely filled, self attested copies of documents required and application fee must be submitted to the university office on or before the last date.

This University provide various Undergraduate courses of arts, science, commerce, computer application and many more in Srikakulam. For B.A. courses such as those offered by the departments of Economics, History, Politics, Telugu and English students must pass Intermediate/10+2 examination of any recognized board/University with not less than 50% marks in respect of a student belonging to the General Category or 45% in respect of a student belonging to the reserved category. Accepted exams are Intermediate from BIETS or any other state/national education boards, provided and recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. For B.Sc. courses in departments like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology & Computer Science, they must have completed their 10+2 exam in the science stream with at least 50% combination total of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics. B.Com. Commerce & Management Department. The program offered by the commerce &management department accepts the minimum qualification of Intermediate pass in any stream with 45% marks required.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam provides PhD programs in various departments of the university such as Management, Commerce, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc. In this case, the requirements for the admission into a PhD program differ from one department to another. For the PhD in Management candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Business Administration or any other professional degree with not less than 55% marks. UGC NET, SET, GATE or JRF are the only qualifying examination accepted by this institution. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for PhD in Commerce are that the candidate must be Master degree holder in Commerce or any related field with 55% or above marks in aggregate. The eligibility criteria can be met by appearing for a UGC NET, SET or JRF examination or passing equivalent examination.
