DBSKKV Ratnagiri Admission 2024
The university currently has nine constituent colleges and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in several disciplines of agriculture through these colleges located at Ratnagiri namely, Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth (DBSKKV). There are agriculture, agricultural engineering, fisheries science, horticulture, forestry, dairy science as well as food science departments. Some of the most sought courses in UG are BSc Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry It is done on the basis of 12th standard Science group with PCB having secured 50% and above. Admission to the postgraduate level courses such as MSc and PhD in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics and Animal Husbandry and other related fields in agriculture & allied sciences are accepted from the graduates. Admission qualifications with the examination accepted is MAH-AAC-CET, ICAR-AIEEA.
The streams and courses offered in 2024 by DBSKKV are BSc/MSc Agri., Agricultural & Food Processing Engineering, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Food & Dairy Technology. MAH-AAC- CET exam is held in the second week of June 2024 and ICAR exam of AIEEA is conducted in the last week of July 2024. Application forms for degree courses will be available from May 2024 from the University’s website. The admission process involves scoring the minimum marks in the entrance examinations that are applied in the program through the portal, document submission, registration, and paying the fees before the deadline. This is in a manner that is consistent with the merit, choice and reservation policy as per the guidelines of the university for all the affiliated colleges. It is proposed that the new academic session may commence from the second week of August, 2024 in all the campuses depending on the completion of admission processes by the students.

DBSKKV, Ratnagiri, Someshwar: The Dr Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth (DBSKKV), Ratnagiri offers its various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in agriculture, horticulture, forestry and allied branches through online admission every year. The admission process is normally done online on the university’s official website www.dbskkv.org and it begins most preferably in the month of May. For application, any candidate interested in the job must first complete the self registration process where they have to fill in some forms with their details. Thereafter they have the option to login and complete the application form and submit the same by the date mentioned along with the payment for the application fee. The fee can be remitted online or through a comparative bank branch by challan. Besides the online mode, the candidates also get the chance to procure and submit application forms in the offline mode at the facilitation centres designated for the purpose. Admission at the university is on merit, and this is in line with the results of entrance examination and/or the qualifying examination depending on the course.
