DY Patil Education Society (DYPES), is an education society which was started in the year 1983. It is situated in Pune city and was established with the vision of delivering Standard education in diverse fields of study. DYPES is recognized by the central Indian governmental bodies such as AICTE, MCI, DCI, INC, BCI and Pharmacy Council of India. Its institutions and courses are also approved by ugc which makes it a famous university for students to gain their degrees. Its colleges have got good grades from NAAC with many of them getting ‘A’ and ‘A++’ grades. DYPES consists of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level and the faculties are engineering, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, architecture, management, arts, science, and law. 1. For students under open category, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in average. 

2. For reserved category students, minimum 45% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination shall be criteria.

3. Must be a holder of a relevant first degree from a recognized university for postgraduate programs.  

4. Undergraduate programs: 17 years of age for first year students as on October 1st, postgraduate programs require the students to be at least 20 years old as on October 1st.

5. Wrote the entrance examinations like MHT-CET/JEE Main, depending upon the program in which the admission was sought.
