Excel Group of Institution is situated in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu offers several UG and PG courses in the faculties of engineering, pharmacy, arts, science, education, commerce as well as management. Some of the most sought courses offered are B.Tech IT, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Civil, B. Pharm, MBA, MCA, B. Ed, BA, and B. Com. Eligibility differs with programme and its details are as follows: BTech: minimum 50% marks in 12th standard PCM, BPharm: 50% in 12th standard PCB, MBA: 50% aggregate marks in any UG level, BEd: 50% in UG programme. TNEA, JEE Main, GATE, TANCET, etc., along with Excel Group of Institutions’ own test is accepted as admission exam.
Excel Group of Institutions is now accepting students for admission for the coming academic year 2024. Main streams and courses offered are - Engineering: CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Civil, Automobile | Pharmacy: BPharm, MPharm | Management: MBA, MCA | Arts and Science: BCA, BSc, BA, BCom, BBA | Education: BEd, MEd. Some of the exams that are held at the national level include JEE Main, GATE, TANCET, TNEA among others, will be conducted between January and May 2024. Excel institutions has it’s own entrance exam in may end 2024. Admission as well as counselling is done depending on the score the candidate got in the entrance exams. Application forms can be obtained from the college website.
Namakkal Excel Group of Institutions gives admission to the students through online and offline mode.
For online application, one needs to visit the Excel Group of Institutions website at www.excelgroupofinstitutions.com and navigate to the ‘Admission’ tab. Choose the preferred course and complete the online application form by entering basic details such as name, date of birth, contact details, educational qualifications etc. Submit the scanned images of photograph, signature, education certificates etc as required. Pay the amount of application fee through net banking, credit card, debit card etc and submit the form and finally for further reference take print of it.
For offline application, the candidate has to visit the admission office of Excel Institutions in Namakkal directly and collect the application form. Complete the form in the best possible manner, enclose photocopy of documents and educational qualifications supported by attested copies. Enclose the duly filled in application form in an envelope along with DD of the requisite application fee amount. The criteria of admission and selection of students are regulated by the Institution and other legal requirements. It will only take the students about three weeks to have their admissions done after being shortlisted they can follow the admission procedures on a date and time agreed upon.

- It is done on merit through National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture. In addition to submitting the portfolio, the shortlisted candidates are required to take a studio test/interview at the institute.
- However, in certain situations admission may be made on the basis of marks secured in JEE Paper 2 and/or any other aptitude test in national or state level as recognized by the Council.
- Candidates are also admitted based on their ranking in the national or state level architecture entrance tests.
1. Check the eligibility criteria: You must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject and a minimum of 50% percentage.
2. Obtain the application form: The application form can be downloaded from the internet from the official website www.excelinstitutions.com and others, or could be picked from the admission office of the institute.
3. Fill out the application: Fill all the details in the application include personal information, academic info, contact details, etc Ensure that you select B.Arch as your program of interest.
4. Attach required documents: Enclosed with the filled up application are attested photocopies of 10th and 12+ standard mark sheets, if applicable, community certificate and passport size photographs.
5. Submit application: Fill the application form and attach the receipt of processing fee payment as well as the necessary documents before the deadline. This can be done also online or physically.
6. Appear for entrance exam: Selected candidates will be informed about the call letter for writing the architecture entrance examination of the institute.
7. Check admission list: After the results of entrance examination have been released, the institute will release the final lists of students admitted. Learn if you have been chosen.
8. Complete admission: If selected, then the applicant should finish all the admissions process by paying fees, submitting original documents and joining on the date allotted for him/ her.
- 10+2/HSC exam scores: It is mandatory that candidates who apply for this course should have completed their 10+2 examinations in commerce stream with the minimum passing percentage as per the norms of the university.
- Entrance test: The institute may set up its own tests for aptitude, knowledge, basic commerce and/or accounts concepts as one of the requirements for selection. Often, performance in this test is taken into consideration.
- Personal interview: Interest, communication, ability and attitude may for instance be tested in an interview conducted in order to determine the best candidates to hire.
- Application form: Interested candidates are required to download an application form from the college website, or can also collect the form from the college. Appropriate documents and fees also have to be provided together with the form when filling it.
- Concessions and relaxed criteria in terms of marks may be allowed to candidates belonging to the reserved category as per the rules and regulations of the government.
