For BTech, the candidates are expected to provide the passing certificate of 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects of study. The minimum eligibility criteria for MBA, is that the candidate should have completed his/her bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate. MCA candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree whereas for BPharm, one must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English. Some accepted exams for admission are MHT-CET, JEE Main, GATE, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GPAT among others based on the program offered. The BTech programs which are available at TEC include Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. To be qualified for the BTech programme, a student must pass the 12th grade with major subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and have an aggregate of 50% and above. The qualifying tests accepted are CBSE, Maharashtra State Board and other boards of state.
Discipline areas of the BSc programs include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, and Information Technology. Admissions criteria comprise 12th grade science group and the minimum 50% aggregate marks from any board such as CBSE, Maharashtra State Board etc. BA degree is provided in English Literature, Economics, Psychology, Sociology and Political Science, History and so on, for 12th grade arts/commerce group with minimum 50% marks in accepted exams.
Postgraduate programs offered at G. H. Raisoni University Amravati are very many and they are spread across various fields. The eligibility criteria for pursuing an MTech in Computer Science and Engineering is a BTech/BE in Computer Science /Information Technology with not less than 60% of marks in aggregate. Candidates possessing GATE qualifications are eligible. For admittance to an MBA, one needs a 10+2 degree in any subject with at least 50% average as the base standard. Acceptable examination codes include CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA. For admission to MCA program, the candidate needs to hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with mathematics at 10+2 level and must have secured at least 50 percent marks in aggregate. It has been designed that seats are allocated according to the merit of the qualifying examination.

G. H. Raisoni University Amravati offers many PhD courses in different departments of engineering, management, pharmacy, science and computer applications. The admission procedures are also different in a sense that some departments have different eligibility criteria for enrolling for a PhD programme. This qualification of Engineering PhD eligibility shows that candidates with BTech/BE degree with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and valid GATE/NET scores will be suitable to apply for the Engineering PhD program. To be eligible to apply for Management PhD, one needs to have MBA/PGDM with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) and cleared UGC/CSIR-NET. To be eligible for Pharmacy PhD, the candidates must have MPharm degree and minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST). Science disciplines and PhD programs such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and others accept UGC-CSIR NET, SET, GATE or equivalent entrance test in combination with postgraduate degree in relevant discipline. MCA degree as per Computer Applications PhD requirement with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and GATE score.
