Glocal University is a private university that is situated in Saharanpur District of Uttar Pradesh, India. It has been established in 2014 and is recognized by university grant commission and also approved by AICTE. It has also achieved accreditation status grade ‘A’ by the recognized NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The NIRF rankings 2023 have been declared and according to this ranking Glocal University has come in the list of top 150 universities situated in India.

At the undergraduate level, postgraduate level and at PhD level, the university has comprehensive academic programs in different disciplines. Some of the courses offered and sought by students are BTech, MTech, MBBS, MD, BBA, MBA, BA, MA, BCA, MCA, among others. The admission process for the new batch is likely to begin in the middle of the year 2023 for the batch of 2024. Common Entrance tests like Glocal Entrance Test (GET), and so on. 

Glocal University is also well equipped with a placement cell through which internships and placements can be arranged for the students in various companies. The firms that have been in the forefront in the recruitment of talented cadets include Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL Technologies, among others. Placement statistics of the year 2023 indicate that 80% of eligible students were placed in top companies with the highest salary package recorded at 18 LPA. The median salary package offered by the institution falls between 4-7 LPA which is relatively on the higher side among private universities.

Some of the big names that recruit candidates from this university are Amazon, Bosch, Byju’s, DLF Group, Infosys etc. The maximum placement offered in the placement drive conducted in 2023 was with a pay package of 32 LPA offered by Amazon.
