GLS University is situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with a campus size of over 75 Acres of land. It was founded in 2015 and, as you may know, is the first private university in the city. It has got an NAAC accreditation which has graded it as ‘A+’ which tell about the quality education imparted here. It has also been ranked recently 45th among Universities across India in NIRF ranking of 2023, which shows its very rapid growth and quality standards. 

In terms of courses and programs, the university provides graduate, post-graduate and doctoral programs under various disciplines such as Management, Commerce, Computer Technology, Pharmacy and more. Candidates can get admission to these programmes through competitive examinations conducted at national or state level such as CAT, GPAT, GUJCET, etc. It has also the provision of taking students based on their performance in the qualifying examination. Usually, admission is done in April every year while the academic year starts in July and August. The University’s website is regularly updated and provides advanced information about important examination dates and admission dates.

The university stands out due to the good placement record as a result of its affiliations to industries. In the placement drive conducted by IIT KGP in 2023, the highest salary offered was 45 LPA and the average salary was 8 LPA. Over 180 reputed companies including Amazon, HCL, TCS, Deloitte, HDFC Bank & ICICI Bank, etc., are regular recruiters who participate in Campus placements.

GLS University Ahmedabad has its own placement cell that helps the students in getting placements after completing their respective programs. The companies which recruit candidates from this campus are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Reliance, Adani and many more and many banks. The maximum salary package provided for the year 2023-24 batch was 18 LPA while the median was 6.5 LPA. In the last academic year, more than 89% of the campus requiring students have been placed through campus placement where Information Technology major Infosys had given as many as 120 offers.
