GGUS has a vast range of programs that include undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, management, sciences, arts, humanities, pharmacy, agriculture. Departments provide another structure of eligibility criteria; for example, to enter the BTech courses candidates have to pass 12th with physics, chemical, mathematics and obtain 50%. JEE Mains, GUJCET, SAT are only accepted exams. In MBA, any graduate having 50% marks from any discipline can apply and the entrance examinations include CAT, MAT, XAT. B.Sc programs admit 12th Science stream students and BA/B.Com admissions include arts/commerce stream students with minimum 45% marks in 12th Board exams.
Some of the courses which are taught in the university include BTech, MTech, MBBS, BDS, PharmD, BSc, MSc, BA, MA, BBA, MBA, BCom, MCom under specializations in various fields. For the admission process in the year 2024 the registrations will begin in the month of November 2023 where students have to first get themselves registered or directly apply with the application fees. Then they can take the accepted entrance test according to the course they are seeking admission for, and thereafter document verification, counseling and final seat allocation takes place, before the admission process is complete.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Age proof certificates such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license or passport with explicit date of birth and identity proof. These are used to confirm identity and age.
2. Marks card of 10th standard and passing certificate showing subjects studied and marks secured. These certificates qualify candidates for further studies in that particular field.
3. Documents required: mark sheet and passing certificate of 12 th standard including subjects studied and marks secured. Needed to prove that they meet the academic prerequisite for the intended course.
4. Passing marks statement along with pass certificate incase the applicant has completed his graduation. Required for admission into post graduate courses.
5. Original mark sheets / statement of marks of last attended school or college. Exemplifies change in board or university associations.
6. Recent passport size photographs. Required for prints ID card after all the admission procedures have been administered.
1. Eligibility criteria – The candidate must have passed the 12th standard from any recognised board/university with not less than 45% marks.
2. Fill and submit online form – The university site offers an online application form for B.Com programmes and can be completed online. Pay the application fee.
3. Upload documents – After the application form has been filled, the next step is to upload scanned copies of some important academic documents such as 12th mark sheet, school leaving certificate.
4. Merit list – After the submission of the application form there is a merit list which is released after the cut of the 12th percentage.
5. Counseling & admission - In case you are successful in your selection, proceed to the counseling session as announced. The documents are approved & admission fees are paid in order to assure the admission.
6. Joining – Report to the allotted college on the joining date as prescribed by the college authority and submit formalities to join and begin attending classes.

1. For admission to BCA at GGU Sidhpur the applicants have to submit the application form which are available online on the university official website or at the admission cell of the university.
2. Applications from those who have scored more than 50 percent in the 12th exams. The eligibility criteria in case of reserved category students are much more relax than that of general students.
3. Sit for the entrance test for university level if you meet the requirements set by GGU. The test measures candidate’s intelligence, logic and understanding of numbers.
4. Visit the merit list section of the university to determine whether you have been offered admission according to your entrance test scores and 12th standard results. Counseling sessions are held.
5. On the reporting date for admission to BCA, students submit all relevant documents and pay the admission fees to GGU Sidhpur. Tuition fee is approximately ?25,000 per year and other expenses may include books and stationery.
6. Participate in the welcome ceremony and orientation programme for the seniors and faculty as new BCA student of GGU Sidhpur. I went to the administrative office to pick a student ID card and a class timetable.
1. Eligibility – Applicant must possess post graduation level degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks.
2. Choose a supervisor - Persons with a faculty position must be approached and asked whether they would consider supervising the project.
3. Submit Application – The candidate applies and submits his or her application either online or offline by providing details such as education background, proposal for research, and others and apply the fees for the application.
4. University written test – As part of the recruitment process, the candidates have to take a written test that the university administers on the subject matter.
5. Interview – The final prospective candidates as per the written examination scores are invited to face an interview by a committee.
6. Admission- Those who get through the interview then they need to fill in the admission process and submit documents and fees to secure their Ph.D seat.
