The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) Hyderabad is one of the leading educational center that provides quality education in many fields. There is a slight variation in eligibility criteria depending on the department. For BBA, BCA, BA Economics, BA English, BCom courses, students should have passed their 12th standard with relevant stream having minimum 50 % marks. Accepted are Intermediate from Board of Higher Secondary Education of the respective state, CBSE, ISCE and others. For five-year integrated law programmes such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB, aspirants should have cleared the 12th standard with a minimum of 45 percentage. Exam accepted are as follows: The same as in the ‘above’ response. To pursue MBA, MCA, MSc, MA, MCom courses, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in the respective domain with minimum of 50% marks. Courses like CAT, MAT, XAT are valid for MBA intake. Every year, admissions to MCA are done after providing preference to all candidates who have appeared in GATE examination.
ICFHE Hyderabad stands with an aim to provide a range of graduate, post graduate and integrated courses in Management, Computer Applications, Arts, Commerce, Law, Science, Design and other streams. Administered test dates for 2024 admit are – CAT exam date: November 26, 2023, MAT February: February 4, 2024, XAT exam date: January 8, 2024. GATE 2024 exam dates are February 4, 5, 11 & 12, 2024 The GATE exam is held once in a year, and it is usually scheduled in the month of February. Concerning the admission process, the students can apply through the university application system online. Application form is released in October 2023 for the intended year of entry 2024. Students must complete the form and sit for entrance assessments as appropriate. The selection will therefore be made from the results of the entrance tests as well as the past performance in academics. University also seats its students based on their performance in a test and an interview, which the university carries out occasionally before admitting the students.
The ICFAI Hyderabad offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the students providing admission through both online and offline modes.
For registration purposes, candidates are encouraged to visit the official website at www.ifheindia.org and scroll down to the ‘Admission’ tab. This means they need to choose the preferred course, enroll on the portal using their details such as their phone number and email, then complete the online application form. The students are required to upload scanned documents of all the academic documents. The application fee can be remitted through credit/debit card, net banking etc pays online.
In the case of offline application, the candidates can download the application form from the university website or obtain the same from the University Admission Centre. Finally, filled in application forms with attested copies of documents and DD for Rs. 200/- towards application fee should be sent to 'The Admission Cell, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Dontanapally, Shankarapalli Road, Hyderabad-501203’. The university also offers direct campus admissions for certain courses or programs for which students can approach the campus with all the documents and fees.
- This is due to the fact that candidates are only admitted into the program after passing the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). As mentioned above candidates have to pass CLAT and the requirement of minimum passing percentage is 40% for general candidates and for SC/ST it is 35%.
- For the international students, the university admits them based on interview/video conferencing. They also need to furnish their LSAT (India) scores The eligibility criteria also specify that candidates must have appeared for the LSAT (India) examination.
- Students selected in the shortlist are required to attend a group discussion and personal interview process at IFHE Hyderabad campus. This round involves testing of most of the important parameters that include subject knowledge, comprehensible communication skills, general awareness, aptitude, and overall personality of the contenders.
- The final admission list is compiled after totaling the candidate’s CLAT score, which is given a weightage of 70 percent and their GD & Interview Performance, which is given a weightage of 30 percent.
- Implementation of policies related to the reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC (non- creamy layer) and the differently-abled students shall be in accordance with the Indian policies of the Government of India.

3. Open an account and then enter all the personal information, academic information, and the contact information provided on the form.
4. Scanned Photograph, scanned signature, scanned copies of mark sheets etc must be uploaded in specified formats.
5. Make the application fee payment online through the modes such as credit card/debit card, net banking, UPI, etc.
6. After you are done with filling in the details in the application form, preview the completed form then submit it.
7. Make a note/note down the confirmation and application number for further use.
