IIMT University is a private university which is located in Gwalior of Madhya Pradesh. IIMT University was established in 2001 and this University has been approved by U.G.C., A.I.C.T.E and Govt. of M.P. It has got accreditation from NAAC and the current grade which the university has received is B++ grade. As per the NIRF Rankings announced in the recent past, IIMT University has secured a position in the NIRF Ranking for Universities 2023 in the band of 101-150 for the University in India.

There are various undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in engineering, management, commerce, IT, pharmacy, agriculture, law, journalism, yoga, design and many others offered at the university. Some of the most sought after courses offered at the university are BTech, MBA, BBA, MCom, BCA, BA LLB, BSc, BDes. The entry tends to take place in between the months of January. Regarding the process of application, interested candidates can either apply online or send a filled application form to the company’s office. Engineering and business courses require IIMT-UGET for admissions and some programs may involve other tests. IIMT University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. It requires candidate to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination of a recognized board with not less than 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates).  

2. For undergraduate programs, candidates need to have their 10+2 exams clear and the specific subjects offered depends on the degree program of the student.

3. The basic eligibility for the postgraduate programs is that the candidate should hold a bachelors degree in the concerned specialization from a known university with not less than 50% average marks.  

4. The specific entrance tests are also additional criteria that could be used in certain programs. As for the guidelines, it is advised to check program-specific conditions.

5. For the students belonging to the reserved category, there is a provision to have a relaxed percentage for qualification as per government norms.  

6. Foreign candidates should have passed the 10+2 equivalent examination and must present all their educational documents legalized by the relevant authorities.

IIMT University Placements 2024

It also has an active placement cell that ensures the placement of students of IIMT across its various courses. However, some of the companies that are involved in the recruitment process of IIMT include; Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank. The maximum salary offered to the students is up to INR 12 LPA while the median salary is between INR 4 to INR 6 LPA at IIMT University. There is no shame in admitting that the university isn’t that great in terms of placement with only 60-70% of the eligible students getting placed through the on-campus recruitment process. The university has well established linkage to industries which facilitates inviting leading companies across all sectors for placement.
