IIFT or the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade New Delhi was established in 1955 and it is one of the esteemed institute of India dealing with international business. They have different postgraduate programs in different departments such as the department of International Business, International Marketing, Finance, Trade Policy & Law, Economics Information System, and Supply Chain Management. Eligibility is a little different across the departments also – For International Business, the candidate should have minimum 50% marks in bachelor’s degree and valid GMAT/GRE/CAT scores. The eligibility criteria for Finance & Information Systems includes CAT/XAT scores and a bachelors degree as minimum educational qualification. For the International Marketing department they require CAT/MAT/GMAT scores as well as a relevant degree with minimum 55% pass.

The candidates who want to get admission in IIFT must sit for an IIFT entrance test to be held on December 18, 2022 in online format. Candidates who will be shortlisted will be required to attend group discussions, interviews, and writing abilities tests in February and March 2023. The final merit list is expected by the end of the financial year 2022-23 which falls in March 2023. For the Ph.D., there is a research aptitude test conducted by IIFT along with an interview for joining the course. Applications for 2023 are received online and are usually conducted in May. 2. Register for the exam: Register at the official IIFT website where online application is available to sit for the NTA conducted IIFT entrance test. It is normally conducted in December.
3. Appear for the entrance exam: To secure an admission for MBA International Business, you will have to take the written entrance test called IIFT at your nominated test center. The exam includes quant, logical, English sections as well.

5. Apply for IIFT MBA program: IIFT conducts its written test every year and if you have cleared it, you need to apply separately on their website for the MBA program when the application is open.
6. Appear for GD/PI round: The candidates who clear the Written Ability Test will be invited to the Group Discussion and Personal Interview sessions to be conducted at different centres.

8. Complete admission formalities: In case one is given an offer, follow the set admission processes by availing the necessary documents and making payments within the set time.

- IIFT conducts a written entrance examination and a personal interview which aspiring applicants have to pass to join the institute. - Again, for the selection, the weightage distributed to the variables is 70% weightage to the entrance exam score and 30% weightage to the performance in the interview.
