The IIFT or the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is one of the oldest and top B-school in India catering to international business. IIFT was set up in 1963 by the Government of India and is recognized by the Indian government to provide management education It has been receiving a very good ranking in NIRF Ranking 2023 and has secured the 23rd rank. IIFT has also been accredited ‘Grade A’ by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) to confirm that the institution fulfills quality criteria in teaching and research.
IIFT has faculties for delivering various postgraduate programs in two centres in Delhi and Kolkata. The most popular programme is the MBA in International Business for which the institute offers a two-year full-time programme with special emphasis on international business, trade and finance, marketing, supply chain and IT. Besides, the Institute has some niche programs such as MBA in International Business (Agri-business) and MBA (International Business - International Logistics). The test that covers all the programmes of IIFT is held in December 2023, while the GD/PI rounds are conducted for the selected candidates in February-March 2024. It should also be noted that online application is normally done in September, every year. Scholarships are also provided to those candidates who deserve to have it.
