IIM Kozhikode has various specializations in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT & Systems, Strategy and General Management streams. Such are PGP for raw processed products, PGP-FABM for fabric based apparel merchandising, ePGP for apparel exporting and PGP-LSM for lifestyle merchandise sourcing. The basic eligibility criteria for applying to the programs offered may include possession of a bachelors degree, the academic performance, the scores achieved in management entrance tests such as CAT, GMAT or GRE, work experience etc. The specific criteria for PGP are 50% marks in the bachelor’s degree as well as the valid CAT scores. The candidates from any stream like engineering, medicine, arts ,commerce etc. with minimum 50 % marks can apply for PGP-FABM through CAT/GMAT. Same as ePGP, for PGP-LSM, the valid CAT score and basic graduation degree is mandatory and for GMAT/GRE scores candidate should have minimum bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of work experience.

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) is one of the top B-schools in India and it offers many undergraduate programs in various departments. The Integrated Programme in Management has the following minimum eligibility criteria The candidate should have passed class 12th from any stream with minimum 60% aggregate. Some standard tests that are recognized include CAT, XAT, GMAT amongst others. The duration of the course is 5 years and the courses offered under BTech programme are offered by the Department of Computer Science with the eligibility of pass in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with an aggregate of 75% marks. The only accepted exams are JEE Main for engineering admission, KEAM for the medical courses, and SAT for the usual courses. The above mentioned integrated BBA-MBA dual degree can be done after class 12th from any stream having 60% marks. The exams accepted are NPAT by GMAC and tests taken at the school or college level.
IIMK is one of the business schools in India which provides a number of doctoral (PhD) programs in different departments. The major PhD programs available in the university are in the area of Finance and Accounting, Economics, Information Technology and Systems, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, Operations Management, and Strategic Management.
The general eligibility criteria of the PhD admission are For Finance, Marketing, Operations, Economics, and IT & systems, the minimum requirement is obtaining more than sixty percent marks in the post-graduation. For OB & HRM and Strategic Management streams, which are considered to be difficult, 55% in PG will be sufficient. Applicants should have also cleared exams such as CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-NET/ JRF to be considered in the selection.
