- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent and 50% aggregate marks, will be required from you as a minimum.
- Entrance Exams: While you want to clear CAT/GMAT and score higher than the required cut-off higher than the set by IIM Lucknow is necessary to you. Ability testing of shortlisted candidates is done through the process of writing ability test (WAT) and personal interview (PI).
- Work Experience: Entry-level job category of general class does not need any work experience to get into. On the contrary two years of job experience is mandatory for the candidates belonging to ST/SC/NC-OBC/PWD category to be able to do so.
- Age Limit: There is no age restriction, but candidates who have the 20+ month of the work experience will have more chances.
- Nationality: You must be an Indian or overseas citizen of Indie to apply. Foreign nationals usually use a separate application process and admission standards.

- Candidates who wish to pursue Post Graduate Program (PGP) will have to qualify for the Common Admission Test (CAT), in order to participate in the selection process conducted by the IIMs. Candidates shortlisted for the interview also have to face a Personal Interview and a Writing Ability Test before we can take a final call on the applicants.
- For admission candidates must have Bachelor's degree 50% or CGPA equivalent. Reservation for backward classes must have reduction in marks given.
- Interestingly, the SOP selection is constituted on the candidate's CAT score, academic record, work experience, diversity profile and other parameters.
- These are the bases of final selection o the composite score which is generated by taking into account an assortment of the following factors including CAT performance, personal interview, academic record, experience and diversity.
- In addition to PGP, IIM Lucknow also manages programs like PGP Agribusiness Management, Working Managers Course, NMP Agribusiness Management, Fellowship Program in Management and so on. Often the requirement of valid CAT score is also expressed for the shortlisting of the applicants.
- There is in addition to this reserved category students from Uttar Pradesh JEE exam score which can be used for getting admissions in PGP rather than for CAT that are used for MBA admissions.
The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML) provides meritorious but weak students from the lower sections of the society under the merit-cum-means scheme. These educational grants seek to enhance the affordability and accessibility to an IIM education through the financial support they offer.
IIML has two scholarship programs which are as follows PGP Scholarship and IPMX Scholarship. A PGP Scholarship is offered to outstanding participants who are enrolled in the Managing Programme and criteria for choice is a CAT score and economic situation of a candidate's family. IPMX Scholarship is a need-based support for students in the Working Managers' Programme and is allocated strictly on academic achievement, work experience, and socioeconomic criteria.
The scholarships offer a 25%, 50% or a full fee coverage of tuition fees. In addition to the scholarship, the students may also entitle themselves to the grants of book, contingent funds and per laptop as applicable. The selection committee is appraising each application with due diligence, in the end, determining how much a scholarship will be given to a student. The scholarships offer an opportunity to the underserved to pursue education IIML would continually have a population that is representative.
