Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE), Gandhinagar Gujarat is one of the most prominent college for teachers training. Minimum requirement for admission to BEd program is a Pass in Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission with minimum 50 % marks. When the government norms are followed certain relaxations are allowed for the reserved categories.

2. For the integrated BEd-MEd program, they require having completed the Class 12 in any stream with a minimum of 60% marks. A Few relaxations are allowed to the reserved category candidates as per rules only. 

3. MEd program admits the applicants with at least 55% aggregate marks in the BEd degree from any government recognized college or university. Preferences to the reserved category in terms of marks do prevail.

The Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE) conducts teacher training courses at Elementary, Secondary and Senior secondary classes.
