Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Anuppur caters to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Teacher Education. The regular three years bachelor’s degree courses like BA, BSc, BCom admissions require the candidate to pass 12th in their concerned field with minimum 50% marks. MA, MSc, MCom type of courses are offered to the students who have a bachelor degree in the relevant field with not less than 55 percent. Both MBA and MCA require graduation with 50% marks in their respective subjects. Taken admission for most of the UG and PG programs, CUCET, IGNTU CET are considered valid. Entry test is also used for admission by some departments while some departments consider national level tests like CAT, GATE scores for admission.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Photocopy of the Aadhaar card/voter ID/driving license for identity and proof of the age of the applicant which is mandatory.
2. Photocopies of documents of 10th and 12th standard examinations to prove previous academic records and fulfill the eligibility conditions.
3. The candidate will need to submit their academic transcripts like the mark sheet, and certificate of the bachelor’s degree if the candidate is applying for a master’s degree course.
4. Marksheets of the degree that was last pursued in order to provide evidence that the student completed their last degree formally.
5. Reservation certificate for those candidates of SC/ST/OBC quota seeking admission to the university.
6. Other documents including domicile certificate, income certificate, EWS certificate if necessary for verification of admission under some specified rules.
1. Visit university website or check the prospectus of the university to find out the requirements that one has to meet for the particular program of interest.
2. Registered online application along with necessary documents before the last date as per the notification.
3. Sit for university entrance examination as required or provide documents.
4. The university may give a list of shortlisted candidates and one is supposed to check the merit list when it is out.
5. Keep the counselling session if one is selected as per the scheduled date and time.
6. This leads to the final process of completing all the admission procedures in terms of fees and documents.

1. Other requirements to meet include academic such as; 10+2 pass in science stream, minimum pass marks etc. Use online or offline as per the university requirements.
2. Scan and upload documents required in admission application process such as 10th and 12th marksheets, photographs etc.
3. Sit for an entrance examination if any or wait for the list to be prepared on the basis of the percentage in 12th standard.

6. Pay all the tuition fees and other fees the institution may require I provide any pending document and obtain a college identification card within the specified time after confirmation of admission.
7. First day of college orientation and classes as indicated in the admission letter should be observed.
