Indus University Ahmedabad is a Private university in Ahmedabad Gujarat. This university was established in 2012 and it has been accredited by UGC and is also affiliated to Government of Guajarath. At present, Indus University has been accredited with grade ‘A’ for the year 2022 from NAAC. According to NIRF ranking 2023, it is ranked 151 among universities in the country.
The university caters for a wide diverse range of programs through its faculties of management, computer applications, commerce, science, design, law, engineering, and pharmacy as well as the school of architecture. Some of the most sought after courses offered include Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelors of Science (B.Sc), Bachelors of Arts and Bachelors of Law (BA LLB), Bachelors of Design (B.Des), Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech) End of semester tests are held every two months in a year in the months of November-December and April-May. In January of each year, admission process is open through state level and national level entrance examination.
The particular university of Indus also has an active placement cell for the final years students for their internships as well as placements. Some of the popular recruiters that approach this college includes Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Ceasefire, Zydus Group and Alembic Pharma, etc. There are more than 500 students from the 2023 batch placed and they are offering 3-5 LPA average salary package to the students. Maximum salary package recorded was 16 LPA. The overall placement percentage of engineering branches is more than 80 percent and computer applications branches and management stream more than 70%.
