IIIT Hyderabad is an internationally known institute for information technology, which is one of the leading institutes of education in IT in India. Established in 1998, IIIT Hyderabad Telangana boast of world-class undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in computer science, electronics, computational biology , and others. IIIT Hyderabad is offering a variety of courses, some of the major ones are in Computer Science and Engineering at B.Tech level and another in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at M.Tech level. The BTech CSE program is developed with the goal of providing fundamental knowledge in the field of computer science and programming. The AI and Data Science GTX (M-Tech) scope encompasses such topics as machine learning, neural networks, data mining etc. for B.Tech entrance exam JEE Mains GATE is compulsory for M.Tech admission.
The reference date for the admission application process in 2024 at IIIT Hyderabad will be in January 2024. Letters of admission will be sent out in April-May 2024 after the tests and interviews that will be held then. For new batches, the classes starts in the end of July 2024.

UG Programs (BTech):
- Successfully complete 10+2 or Intermediate in the MPC stream with relevant minimum overall (60 Percent).
- Enabling National Exams such as JEE Mains.
PG Programs (MSc, M.Tech & M.Phil):PG Programs (MSc, M.Tech & M.Phil):
- An undergraduate degree in the core discipline with 60%/65% (specific requirement may differ depending on the particular program).
- Applicability of GATE score for some of the MTech programs depends on particular specialization area you are applying for.
- Equal to MPhil, the CSC/UGC/NET or its equivalent is required.
PhD:
- A Master of the subject with minimum aggregate including all subjects of 60% or above as required.
- The eligible candidate should fulfill at least one of the following criteria: pass the GATE or UGC/CSIR-NET/SET/SLET examination.

When it comes to this year alone, 95% or more of the students eligible for placement secured jobs and the salaries on average are on an upwards trend. The scholarships acknowledge students with top academic achievements and the basis of these students’ admission or qualifying exam scores determines the winners. Scholarships awards range from the fee waiver, which can stand at 25% to 100%, and depends on the students' rank and their background/performance in school. But the need-based scholarships are not left out, too. Renewal for the scholarship for the program duration is proposed to be yearly. However, the continued award is subject to the student's satisfactory academic performance. The scholarships are helpful in the IIITs retaining of the brightest students, therefore improving the quality of education.
