Jain Vishva Bharati University (JVBU) is one of the leading universities placed in Rajasthan, India. JVBU was established in the year 1991, which has ranked itself in the NIRF rankings of universities for the year 2023. This is a University accredited with the Grade A of NAAC and recognized by the UGC and the Government of India. JVBU aims to provide choice of programs across the disciplines of arts, business, education, music IT, nursing, science, and social sciences, to produce graduates who are compassionate, knowledgeable, skilled, responsible, and productive citizens.
JVBU is involved in providing under graduate, Post graduate and doctoral degree courses in faculties including Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering and Technology, Management, Computer applications, Education, Pharmacy, Naturopathy & Yogic sciences among others. These programs are considered professional programs and admissions are done depending on scores on National level or State level entrance exams. For the 2024 academic session that will begin in July, the admission application will recommence in January next year. University exams are normally administered in the period of October-December as well as April-June each year.
The training and placement cell of JVBU has maintained a good record in placing the students with numerous reputed companies as Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, L&T Infotech etc which pays frequent visits to the campus. The maximum salary package during the placements in 2021-22 session was 32 LPA. More than 80% of the 2021-22 passed out batch students were placed with a median salary of INR 3LPA to INR 8LPA with the industry sectors such as IT/Software, Financial services, Manufacturing, Ecommerce, and Others. Jain Vishva Bharati University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For admission to the undergraduate degrees the students must have cleared their Standard X, Xll or equivalent examination from any recognized central or a State Board / Indian University and minimum percentage of marks required differs course wise. Certain programs may have extra conditions in terms of the acceptance of the customers.
2. For postgraduate programs, the general entry requirements include an appropriate first degree in the relevant subject obtained from a recognized institution with minimum pass percentage for the program varying as well.
3. Some of the integrated master’s degrees are offered to 10+2 passed students provided they fulfill certain standards based on the academic year and entrance tests in correspondence to the specific program.
4. The admission procedure in the doctoral program is two-tiered, and before a candidate is offered admission, he/she has to sit an entrance examination and then an interview. Minimum 55% in postgraduate degree is required for the candidates to be applicable for the job.
5. They must also provide all their certificates and transcripts and these must be certified by the appropriate authorities. Sometimes, they include academic achievements and English language proficiency scores too.
6. The SC, ST and OBC students are also come under the reserved category and they have to submit the valid certificates while admission. Modifications may be permit with regard to certain conditions of eligibility.

Jain Vishva Bharati University has stringent placement policies supported by the placement cell in the university. Popular organizations of the country such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, KPMG and ICICI Bank usually conduct campus interviews for offering job opportunities in fields of Information Technology, Consulting, Banking and Finance to the fresh pass outs and the postgraduates. The highest salary package was of Rs 18 LPA by Microsoft in the placements in 2021-22 while the average salary package was of Rs 6.5 LPA.
