1. Aspirants should be a 10+2 pass or its equivalent from any recognized central or state board or any other recognized qualification equivalent to the above and fulfilling the required percentage as per course. Usually it ranges between 50 and 60 percents, which is necessary to enroll in undergraduate courses.

2. For postgraduate programs, candidates must have relevant first degree in the related specialization from a recognized university with minimum aggregate marks as specified by the program again based on the program.  

3. Extra considerations may include entrance test requirements, certain high level of pass, specific course qualifications, and so on, which the candidate has to meet.

4. There can be additional provisions of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates getting 5 % relaxation in percentage of the qualifying examination. The candidates having different abilities are also offered some leeways as per the government policies.
