The university of Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (JNKVV) Jabalpur provides several undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields such as Agriculture, Engineering, Basic Sciences, Home Science and Veterinary Science. For the admission in BTech, national level entrance examinations are considered while for other courses, it is the percentage/marks scored in the examinations which are considered. The main courses provided include Business Technology (BTech), BSc Agriculture, MSc Agriculture, Bachelors of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH), Mtech, Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
These streams offered at JNKVV are Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Basic Sciences, Agricultural Information Technology, Dairy Science, Home Science and Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. New intakes for the 2024 batch of students will be absorbed through online admission, which will be open soon on the university’s website. It will therefore be done through performance on national of state level test, qualifying exam scores and personal interview.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. The photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID card, or driving license for the identification of the applicant and the details.
2. Birth certificates; marks sheets of passing class 10 & 12 examinations from a recognized board.
3. Photocopies of mark-sheets of standard X and XII examination for the purpose of showing academic qualification.
4. Agree Diploma/degree in agriculture for masters programs Qualifying exam certificate if applicable.
5. Transcript in original mark sheet or Migration certificate from the last attended institution or university in case of students who have transferred the institute.
6. Proof of belonging to a reserved caste for students to access quotas and income certificate for fees reductions if the candidates qualify.
1. Some of them may include; minimum age, academic qualifications and other courses such as possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with the minimum percentage as required.
2. Advertisement is to be filled online or offline in the format prescribed before the last date mentioned on the website of the university or concerned admission portal.
3. Make it to the entrance examination if any such as the RET or any other examinations.
4. Shortlisting may also be done on the basis of an entrance exam if conducted, the result of which will be available on the official website.
5. Go to counseling session as per the timetable to get the seat list and for the verification of the documents.
6. To retain the seat in the preferred University pay the admission fees within the time and complete all the formalities.
7. These documents and certificates should be in original and one has to join the program on that date.
1. Some of the general requirements that a candidate must fulfill for getting admission include educational qualification, percentage, entrance examination depending on the subject that one desires to pursue.
2. To get the consent letter, one has to select a specific faculty or guide according to their area of research.
3. Submit the online application form or a printed version of the form within the due date with the payment of fees.
4. Write the entrance test if applicable and face interview.
5. Visit the official website or notice board of the respective institution to check merit list when it is published.
6. Admission can be done by finishing all the document attestation and registration formalities and also payment of fees.
7. After the process above, apply for the research proposal and begin working on the approval that leads to your Ph.D degree.

1. A direct online application is available on the official website related to the B.Tech entrance examination.
2. Take the state level entrance examination – PCMET or any national level examination – JEE Main.
3. Even the initial check result and get the score that needed the cut-off marks.
4. This means that the attendee has to attend counseling according to the MP domicile quota or the All-India quota.
