Jaypee University is one of the private universities situated in AnnooShahr in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2014 and is an affiliate of the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka (UGC). Jaypee University has been accorded a NAAC rating of B++ which is as per the norms of the University Grant Commission of India. Jaypee University being in the NIRF Rankings 2023 it is ranked 101 among the Universities in India. 

It caters to degree programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level and in Engineering & Technology, Management & Commerce, Sciences & Agriculture, Languages & Social Sciences, Law, Education, Architecture & Planning, and Fine Arts. The programs currently offered include btech, mtech, MBA, BSc, MSc, BA, MA, LLB, BEd and PhD among others. Some of the other examinations conducted at Jaypee University are semester exams which are conducted in the end of November/ December and April/ May session respectively. The admissions are offered yearly and the earliest time is in January for the July intake. The university provides the opportunity to be enrolled in the basis of the national level tests such as JEE Main, GATE, CAT, XAT, MAT, NATA or on the basis of own test JUET.

The salary of Information Technology and software related jobs vary between 4- 6 Lakhs per annum while students from core engineering branches receive around 6-8 Lakhs per annum. Jaypee University Anoopshahr Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. For the BTech programs, the candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination in PCM/PCB stream with minimum 60% aggregate marks. B.E./B.Tech degree holders can apply for lateral entry in 2nd year.

2. For admission to MTech program, candidates should have BTech/BE or equivalent in the concerned branch with 60% marks. Recruitment is done as per the Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) scores of the candidates.  

3. For MBBS candidates should have cleared their 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 60 marks in PCB. For the above position one must have qualified the NEET exam. It has age constraint where it only targets the youthful people within the ages of 17 – 25 years.

4. To pursue BBA, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in any stream with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate. There are no entrance exams required in order to take admission in BBA/BBA LLB program.  

5. To be eligible for BA LLB and BBA LLB the candidates must have completed their 10+2 in any discipline and secured 50% aggregate. These are the admission criteria for the University: University: Candidates are selected based on their CUET Score.

6. For MBA and PG Diplomas, any graduate can apply provided the graduate must have good scores. In this case admissions are made through the merit earned in a specific admission test (CAT/MAT/XAT). Work experience given weightage.

Placement and training cell is active in the university and in order to prepare the students for placements, that organizes soft skill training, interview practices and grooming sessions. Many IT organisations, core engineering companies, manufacturing industries, banks, consulting companies and many other sectors conduct their campus placement in Jaypee University annually and offer good placements for the students.
