The Jodhpur National University (JNU) is the university level institute which provides the course at under graduate as well as post graduate level in the field of engineering, management, arts, commerce, science, education. The engineering streams like B.Tech computer science, IT, admit students through national level exams like JEE Mains but the MBA courses take CAT/MAT also. The admission requirement for B.A. and B.Com programs is the completion of the class 12th from a recognized board in respective stream with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
JNU, like any other university, has adopted the semester system for its academic courses. The calendar year is also divided into two semesters and university examinations are also conducted each semester. The internal assessment consists of assignments, presentations, project reports prepared by students and graded by the faculty along with the end –semester theory and practical examinations for assigning the final marks. In determining the general academic performance, grade point average score is taken into consideration.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Identification Documents: Upload ID proof such as Aadhaar cards, voter ID cards or the driving license to prove your identity as well as age.
2. 10th Standard Marksheet & Passing Certificate: Submit photocopies of your 10th standard mark-sheet and passing certificate for proving the eligibility of previous education qualification.
3. 12th Standard Marksheet & Passing Certificate: As proof of having completed the 12th standard or higher secondary education you should enclose the marksheet and the passing certificate.
4. Migration & Transfer Certificate: Provide migration and transfer certificate from the education board of the school or college, which you have attended previously.
5. Recent Photographs: Include 2-4 passport size photographs for your admission form and for files when enrolling in college.
6. Provisional Allotment Letter: Please attach the letter of provisional allotment of seat in the university/college that you have received after being selected.
1. Ensure eligibility – A candidate should have passed class 12th in the respective stream with the minimum proficiency level.
2. Complete the application form – Submit it online or offline at university or with help of authorized centers before the last date.
3. Documents to be uploaded - scan and upload documents like 10th/12th mark sheets , photos etc as per guidelines.
4. Pay application fee – This fee is charged and can be made online through credit/debit card or through demand draft.
5. Attend counseling – If one gets an opportunity to be selected, the candidate has to attend university counseling for provisional admission in accordance with time table.
6. Final documents and payments - Produce original documents to authenticate the provisional admission and make the required payment for the seat and enrollment.
1. The common entrance test for admission into the University is called PUMT and the requirement include Educational qualifications, examination and age limit for each course.
2. Complete application by following the online/offline process before the last date by downloading the application form and remitting the application fee.
3. If applicable, appear for the national level entrance examination which is conducted by NTA.
4. Check the merit list when is released to see if the candidate has been selected for counselling.
5. Take a counseling session in accordance with the arranged timetable, tender copies of documents for validation.
6. Take medical examination and make the payment which has to be made in order to secure the admission.
7. They are required to submit any remaining documents and pick up an identity card to finalize their enrollment process.

2. Appear for national level engineering entrance exams such as JEE Main or the state level entrance test. Qualify with valid score.
3. Attend counseling sessions conducted by JNU Jodhpur that may be planned at various times. Select a branch and a quota that is appropriate to the individual’s rank and preferences.
4. Once admitted to a particular seat complete the document verification and admission fees to cement the seat.
5. To the respective departments, prepare and submit reports, undertake registration processes in line with the laid down timelines.
6. Make it a point to attend the orientation program and start their classes as per the academic dates of JNU Jodhpur. Follow rules and regulations.

4. Other relevant accomplishments, including prior work experience, are also taken into account.
5. The last round of the selection is the selection based on CAT/MAT/CMAT scores, group discussion, the performance in the interview and academics.
6. Choices are offered according to the selected candidates in accordance with their preference, category, and gender as prescribed by the government.
