Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is a public university situated in Warangal, Telangana state and its primary aim is to offer quality health sciences education and conduct research activities. It was established in 2014 and has got more than 200 partner colleges and is accredited by UGC, MCI and DCI. NAAC in the year 2023 has accredited the KNRUHS as grade A with 3.01 CGPA. According to the NIRF rankings 2023, KNRUHS stands at 91 of universities in the country.
Some of the programs that are being offered by the university include Undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in the fields of medicine, dentistry, nursing, allied health sciences among others. It is also a premier medical institution offering several major courses that are MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MDS BPT, BOT, BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, B Pharm and Pharm D. The examinations are held once a year and admissions take place in May-June through NEET/ state counselling for medical programmes, KNRUHS Common Entrance Test (KRUCET) for BPT/BOT/BSc nursing etc.
KNRUHS has a centralized placement cell which helps the students of its constituent colleges to get placements in different organizations for eligible UG & PG program placements. Some of the main recruiters are Apollo Hospitals, KIMS Hospitals, Sunshine Hospital, Medplus, Clin Tech International, Dr Reddy’s labs etc. There are attractive packages offered to the students like 1.8-2.2 LPA for pharmacists, 1.5-2 LPA for BSc nurses and MBBS interns and freshers gets 3.6-5 LPA.
