Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS) is one of the top private unaided Christian minority institutions situated at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. It is mandatory that the candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination in the Science stream with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in each paper and minimum marks of 60% in aggregate. Should have studied English as one of the languages at 10+2 level.
2. For the B.Tech., courses, the candidate must have valid score in the national or state level engineering entrance examination such as JEE Main, KCET and so on, however some of the courses may have other requirements for admission too.
3. For the MTech programs, the candidates must have passed the BTech/BE or its equivalent degree in the relevant course/specialization with at least 60% marks in aggregate. It is desirable that the candidates have qualified GATE exam.
4. It is however important to note that graduates from any field can apply for MBA program. It may be possible to set special preferences for candidates who have experience in relevant job positions. Other factors that may be taken into consideration is the candidate’s performance in competitive entrance examinations such as CAT/MAT.
5. For MCA program, candidate should have passed bachelors degree examinations with Mathematics as one of the subjects and obtained minimum 60% marks in aggregate. It is preferable if the applicant has some prior experience or knowledge about computers.
