The university accepts the following examinations and tests namely JEE Mains, CG PET, KKMU-ET. For MBA, graduates in any stream with 50% aggregate marks are eligible and entrance exams accepted are CAT, MAT, XAT and many more.

The KK Modi University in Durg provides various number of Bachelors degree programs in Engineering, Sciences, Commerce, Arts & Humanities etc. Some of the most sought after UG courses offered at Sharda University are the B.Tech programmes in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering where the admission is done based on the students’ performance in 12th standard science minimum 60% pass. BSc in fields of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and scores of 12th science with some of the common entrance exams being JEE Main, CG PET For BA in sociology, English, psychology the requirement is 12th pass in any stream with minimum 50% average. The BCom program accepts score in class 12th commerce stream or in its equivalent examinations. UG programs available for students are B.Tech., B.E, B.Sc., BCA, B.A, B.B.A, B.Com in engineering, IT, science, arts, commerce, etc.

This depends on the department of the university that one is applying to, as the criteria differs from one department to another. MBA course requires a bachelor’s degree with not less than 50 % marks for the students who want to pursue MBA. It accepts CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores that are conducted for admissions into MBA programs. To do an M.Tech, a student is supposed to possess a B.Tech/B.A. Passed B.E./B.Tech. degree in relevant branch with 60% marks. The requirement of GATE qualification is mandatory for any scholarship which comes under the MHRD or CSIR. An MA English needs Bachelor’s degree in English with at least 50% marks and TISS/DU/KKMU entrance are considered. An M.Sc. in subjects like Physics and Chemistry makes the demand for B.Sc. reasonable and understandable. in relevant subject with 55% marks Only candidates who fulfill the above criteria can apply to study for a degree. Admissions are through entrance tests such as IIT JAM/CSIR NET. These PG programs are offered across Management, Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Design among others.
The KK Modi University in Durg acknowledges its different departments and offers PhD programs in various fields. The Pharmacy department has the Doctors of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences and the candidates should have qualified GPAT exam or should have completed their Master’s degree. The Management department also has a PhD program in Management with the requirement of candidates possessing a Master degree and clearing the CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA tests. Computer Science department provides the opportunity to take PhD in Computer Science and the candidates must qualified or cleared GATE/NET exams or had done MTech. The Arts & Humanities department currently offers PhD programs in subjects such as Economics, English, Psychology, etc. Candidates must have taken and cleared UGC-NET/SET or have an M.
