KR Mangalam University is a private University of the state of Haryana, established at Gurugram. It was started in the year 2013 and it is UGC recognized University and also acknowledged by the Government of Haryana. The university has got ‘A’ Grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2022. It is notable that according to NIRF rankings 2023 KR Mangalam University has taken its position among the 101-150 universities in India.
The university has instituted various programs in different fields of study such as management, engineering, law, journalism, hotel management, commerce, science, among others Some of the most pursued courses include; Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Master of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Laws and Business, Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce, among others. Generally the admission process starts in the month of January in every year and university conduct KRUMET for B.Tech., KUMBT for MBA and some other examinations for all other courses. Examination is conducted in April – May and the results are announced in June for a new session, which begins in July 2024.
It is worthy to note that, KR Mangalam University has effective placement cell that helps students in availing internships/ training and final placements irrespective of their specialization. The well recognized companies that visit our campus for the placement are Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, Ernst & Young, Federal Bank and ICICI Bank etc. More than 500 students from KR Mangalam University are placed every year The salary offered for the students is Rs. 4-6 lakhs per annum on average. The maximum salary offered in campus placements till now is Rs 12 lakhs per annum. In the latest batches, several specialization areas have exhibited high placement percentages; MBA got 90% placement while engineering disciplines got 75%.

KR Mangalam University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Applicants should have cleared 10+2 exam from any recognized board and the minimum percentage of marks required in this examination also differ from course to course ranging between 45 to 60%.
2. For admission into B Tech streams, the candidates should have passed the 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects. Minimum percentage requirement in aggregate is 45-60% excluding final year depending upon the branch.
3. For MTech programs, the candidate must have a B.Tech / B.E or its equivalent degree in relevant branch with minimum 50-60% marks depending upon the specialization. Candidates having qualified in GATE are especially welcome.
4. To undertake MBA programmes, graduates of any university with any type of degree can apply. Generally, candidates must have a minimum of 50-60 percent aggregate marks are required which may vary according to specialization. Other requirements include but are not limited to: The candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university, Valid government-issued photo identification, Entrance tests such as CAT/MAT.
5. Common requirement for the BA LLB and LLB courses is that the candidates can be graduates in any field. Scoring at least 45-50% aggregate percentage is essential for the candidate. CLAT/LSAT scores also valid.
6. In all programs, the SC/ST/OBC candidates are allowed aggregate percentage relaxation as per the state government rules. English proficiency mandatory.

The University has a well functional placement cell for itself for arranging interviews and job offers for the students. The top companies that actively recruit people include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra. In 2021, the maximum number of recruiters offered a salary package of Rs 18 LPA which was rolled out by Publicis Sapient while, on average, the offer was Rs 4.5 LPA. For the batch of 2021 pass outs, the career placement figure was at 83% of students from over 110 companies where more than 550 students got placements. The training and placement cell also assists the students in interview process through grooming sessions and pre-placement talk series. To achieve this, KR Mangalam University has a placement team in place and the institute is striving to ensure that, in the near future, 100% placement will be attained for all specializations.
