Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth is one of the deemed-to-be universities that are located in Faridabad, Haryana. It was started in the year 2005 and has been accredited by UGC and NAAC with Grade A and according to the NIRF ranking announced recently Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth stands at 76th Position in University category in India. Today the institute has become a complete university providing undergraduate and postgraduate courses in almost all fields of study such as engineering, management, law, pharmacy, education, arts and sciences. 

As for the courses, the institute has a wide range with the variety of streams such as BTech, MTech, MBBS, BBA, MBA, BA LLB, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Ed and so on. It is normally in April each year that the admission process starts. The novel scenario requires students who wish to pursue MBBS or engineering to sit for national level examinations. For other programs, admission is offered based on CGPA of 12th board or entrance test conducted by the university. Admission test dates for 2024 have not been posted yet, but they should be available shortly on the university’s website. Recruiting usually starts from September – November for the respective year. Lingaya's Vidyapeeth Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. BTech Computer Science Engineering: Candidate must be passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics disciplines as the main subjects and obtained at least 60% marks in average.

2. BA Honours Economics: Applicant should have passed the 10+2 in any stream for this examination and minimum 50% marks aggregate. There is no entrance exam for the admission process, the admission is direct but merit based on class 10+2.  

3. BSc Honours Chemistry: Further, the students should possess minimum 60% marks in aggregate in standard 10+2 examination with Chemistry as one of the main subjects. Minimum qualification required is 10+2, Physics and Mathematics as subjects preferable.

4. BBA General: A candidate must have completed 10+2 in any stream and must have obtained 50% aggregate score. There is no entrance, direct admission provided on the merit of the qualifying examination. 

5. MA English: Possession of graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. English has to be among the subjects we take for graduation.

Situated in Faridabad, Haryana, Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth was established in 1968. It is a private deemed university which offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree in engineering, management, education, computer applications, pharmacy, law, arts and science streams and doctoral programs as well.
