Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University, established in the year 1991 at Bhopal, offered different undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the faculties of arts, science, commerce, computer application, education, journalism and mass communication, library and information science and others. There is no strict standard for enrolment to BA course, which is only having a pass in 12th exams from any stream in a recognized board. For BCom, they required 12th passed with commerce stream subjects only. To get entry into BCA, Mathematics is one of the mandatory subjects in 12th standard. The BEd program requires having a graduation degree with minimum marks of 50% while BPEd insists on having at least 50 % in graduation along with having participated in National/State level sports events. The University allows students with MP PET, CMAT, PET, ATMA among others examination qualifications for postgraduate admission. Candidates who have passed the final year examination in first attempt with minimum 45-50% must have passed from any UGC recognized university.

Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism and Travel Management has an eligibility criterion of 10+2 in any stream for admission.

The minimum standard of education required for MBA is a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
