Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) is one of the new era universities in the state of Rajasthan in north-western part of India. It was incorporated in 2003 by the Act of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and has grown to be one of the most reputable universities in the region. Currently, MGSU has received an ‘A’ grade from the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) in 2022, thus showcasing its focus on the quality of education. The NIRF Rankings 2023 were recently released and according to these MGSU falls in the 151-200 band in the entire country.
Based on the 24 constituent colleges and 4 university campuses, the university covers all the programs of study in various fields. The courses offered by the MGSU include the following: BTech & MTech, BCA & MCA, MBA, BEd & MCom, MA & MSc, BA & BSc, LLB and PhD. These programs are administered under the state and national based examinations in order to secure admissions. The universities have revealed their 2024 admission exams; main examination dates include RET MGSU for BTech on 17/04/2024, and MGSUMET for MBA on 14/05/2024. Training and placement cell at MGSU is quite active to provide internships and placements to the students irrespective of the course they are pursuing. It has a record of IBM, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, Dell, JK Cement, Geodesic, STG, and Think and Learn being among the companies that conducted campus placements in the year 2022 for students at MGSU. Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology has established these MGSU placements where the highest salary package offered was 18 LPA and the average salary ranged between 4-6 LPA. The latest placement statistics of the university reveal that the overall placement percentage for the batch of 2021-22 was at least 85%, which underlines the university’s commitment to helping students secure jobs on graduating.

There is a placement cell working on this university to provide campus placement every year for the students of Maharaja Ganga Singh University.
