The Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) Bathinda offers the streams in engineering, pharmacy, management, computer application, agriculture, science etc. The courses offered are the BTech, MTech, BPharm, MPharm, MCA, MBA, BSc, MSc. The requirement for having an eligibility to join BTech is passing 10+2 with passing qualification in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The students must also sit for examinations such as JEE Main, PSU CET, PTU CET among others to be able to secure a place. For BPharm, candidates must have completed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and any one of the Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subjects. The accepted examination are PSU CET for first year and LEET for lateral entry. For MBA and MCA, one should have a bachelor’s degree in any field and should have secured 50% of marks. Acceptable admission tests include CMAT, CAT, MAT etc. In order to be admitted to the BSc Agriculture course, candidates need to pass 10+2 examination in science stream. MRSPTU offers admission through national level tests, and also by appearing in the MRSPTU entrance tests.
In the course of the current year, MRSPTU has admission for the following programs for the batch 2024. There is a wide range of courses offered and some of them include the following; Btech, MBA, Bpharm, BSc(Agriculture), MCA. In the same year, February 2024 to be precise, the university will open its portal for the application process. The goals of the developed application are as follows: The candidates have to complete a form, attach necessary documents, pay for exams and choose a time slot for university exams. Predicted exams are like PTU CET for engineering, LEET for pharmacy and this will be conducted in may 2024. The JEE Main, CAT, CMAT are some of the national level examination which will be held earlier in the academic session as well. The counselling will be conducted based on students’ performances in these tests and will help to distribute seats over the colleges affiliated with MRSPTU.

1. To apply for the admission, the candidates have to log on to the official website of MRSPTU Bathinda and in the home page, there will be an option called ‘Online Admission Application’.
2. User can register himself with his name, email id, phone no., etc., then you will get your id of registered account through email.
3. You will need to log in with the provided username and password and then complete the application form. Give your personal information, academic information, scan and attach necessary documents and enter your preferred college and branch.
4. Go through the application once again and confirm all the details filled in again. Make changes if any.
5. Make the application fees payment online through Internet Banking or debit/credit card or through UPI.
6. Note down the application number and take the confirmation page for further use in the process.
7. Expect the counselling dates and process. Make it a habit to visit the university’s website periodically.
8. Visit the official website of the desired institute and look for the merit list Once the merit list is declared, check whether you have made it or not.
9. Fill in the form separately for the counselling procedure according to the given schedule.
10. This will require you to attend the web counselling based on your merit rank and get your seat in the desired college/branch.
11. If you have got a seat then you have to go through the process of paying the admission fees online to confirm it.
12. Check and download the provisional admission letter, and then report to the assigned college according to the timetable for the documentation and finalization of the admission process.
