Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan, offers the programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in a vast array of disciplines in engineering, management sciences, basic sciences, humanities, commerce, sports, physical education, pharmacy, computer applications, hotel management, law. In this regard, the eligibility criteria differ depending on the program to be applied for. For instance, to seek admission to B.Tech. programme in CSE/ IT/EEE stream, the candidate should have passed 12th standard with 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as optional subjects. For MBA, the requisite is 50% marks in graduation in any discipline. Most of the programs at the University are done through the national level entrance examination like JEE Mains, CAT, MAT, CMAT for the corresponding course.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Original identity card which contains the date of birth like Aadhaar CAR, Voter ID Card, Driving License, or Passport along with the address proof.
2. Mark sheet of the 10th class along with the passing certificate from the respective state or National Education Board.
3. For the candidates who have passed 12th standard examination they have to attach the marks statement of 12th class issued by the respective state or national education board if done after 12 class.
4. A migration and character certificate from the previous school or college from where the applicant has passed the qualifying examination.
5. Guarantee that the photographs submitted are recent and match the passport size as required in the university application form.
6. Any other document such as income documents, documents supporting quota if the applicant wants to apply under quota basis, fitness and health documents if required for some programs.
1. Normally online/offline application is done along with some documents like 10th/12th marksheets and photos.
2. Take the entrance test if any, otherwise you will be in merit list if 12th marks are the criteria for preparing that list.
3. Latest merit list has been released and if you have been successful you will be called for counseling.
4. Go for counselling session, pay fee, submit the necessary documents and select the course and college.
5. After check and confirmation the candidate receives a provisional letter of admission.
6. Full admission with full fees paid and original documents attached plus the fee receipt signed.
1. This can be done both online as well as offline with the Mark sheet of 10+2 exams and other necessary documents.
