MPSEVV university Ujjain provides several courses in the streams of Sanskrit Vyakaran, Sahitya, Darshan, Jyotish, Vastushastra, Dharmashastra, Mimansa, Nyaya, Vedanta, Upveda and Vedic and Indic Studies etc along with Education faculty. The requirements may also differ depending on the departments the students want to join. For Vedic Studies, they require the pass in Class 12 in any group. For BEd, candidates are required to pass graduation in any field with the minimum of 50% marks. For Acharya level, candidates should possess Shastri degree in the relevant subject. For the MA Courses in Sanskrit the entrance requirements are graduation in Sanskrit or any equivalent oriental degree. MPSEVV admits students based on scores of entrance exams such as MPSEVVRAT.
The University teaches courses like BA, BSc, BCom, BEd, MEd, MA, MSc, MCom, MPhil and PhD in faculties of Indic Studies, Vedic Studies, Education, Sanskrit Vyakaran, Sahitya, Darshan, Jyotish, Vastushastra and Dharmashastra.

The Maharshi Panini Sanskrit Evam Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (MPSEVV) in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh has a number of undergraduate programs including Commerce. The B.A. program of MPSEVV accepts norms of UGAT and any other qualifying examination at national level as well as those conducted by the state government. The requirements for admission to B.A. in English/Hindi/Sanskrit include passing 12th grade in the respective subject with at least 50% marks. B.Com program accepts national level management test such as CAT/MAT along with UGAT score but the minimum pass criteria for 12th grade Commerce stream is 50%. B.Sc. The programs offered are in subjects such as Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics and Physics while it accepting national/state level entrance tests and requires 12th grade Science stream pass with minimum 60% PCM marks.
The University provides undergraduate programs in faculties of Arts and Social sciences, science, commerce, computer science and education.
