MGAHV is an ‘Antarrashtriya’ Central University established in year 1998 at Wardha, Maharashtra. It was set up in 1997 by the Government of India to propagate the cause of Hindi language, literature and culture. MGAHV is affiliated to the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. For undergraduate programs, the candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board and possess minimum percentage of marks which also differs program-wise.
2. For postgraduate, the students need to have a bachelor’s degree which is relevant to the postgraduate course they are interested in with minimum percentage depending on the program.
3. For admission to MPhil and PhD programmes, one requires a post graduate degree in the relevant subject with not less than 55% aggregate marks and pass in entrance test and interview.
4. While applying for diploma and certification courses, one has to pass 10+2 examination or its equivalent in order to undergo the admission process.
5. It has reservation policy for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and specially-abled candidates according to government rules.

The number of placements has increased consistently in the Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAHV).
