1. For admission to under graduate programs candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent education from any recognized board.
2. Minimum eligibility for PG programs: candidate must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with minimum percentage benchmark as per course.
3. Certain programs may mandate passing scores in qualifying entrance tests such as MJRPET, GATE, GRE, GMAT.
4. The rules and regulation for the reserved category and the eligibility norms which are somewhat more lenient to candidates who fall under the backward classes as per the rules set by the government.
5. Other conditions such as interview, submission of portfolio etc may be required for special programs such as graphic design, architecture.
6. University is also entitled to change the eligibility norms from time to time as per the latest guidelines. Prospective employees recommended to check details about new standards before submitting application.
Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University this session where more than 80% of the students were placed through campus selections. Many reputed organizations offered jobs such as Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant. The maximum salary package that was offered was from American Express which was Rs 25,000 per month. More than 150 students got selected for the job offers with salary packages of above Rs.15 lakhs per annum. The median pay scale was Rs.68000/- per annum for the salary package offered to the employees of the organization. The vast majority of placed students were from branches like Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. In a nutshell, the placement session witnessed representation from top IT companies that led to good placement packages for the graduating batch.
