Mandsaur University is a university in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, India under section 2(f) of the UGC Act. It was set up in the year 2007 and is approved by University Grants Commission and approved by AICTE. Mandsaur University was conferred NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) accreditation which has awarded B+ grade. As per the NIRF rankings 2023 ranking, it is in the 151-200 NIRF ranking among all the universities in the India.
The university provides a range of Undergraduate and Post-graduate programmes in engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, commerce, computer applications, journalism & mass communication, design, law, and many more. Among the general courses, there are B. Tech, M. Tech, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B. B. A, M. B. A, B. C. A, M. C. A, B. Sc, M. Sc, B. A, M. A, L. L. B and many more. The admission process occurs in April every year. Aspirants who want to take admission in the varsity must take the MU OET entrance examination and then the counselling session. Exam dates for the next semester are yet to be provided by the university for the students seeking admission in the year 2024.
All eligible students of Mandsaur University can get placements in their respective fields of interest through tie-ups with reputed organizations. Some of the leading companies that campus recruit are Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank among others. Engineering and MBA had the highest placement percentage with more than eighty percent students placed in the year 2022. The maximum placement carried an offer of 16 LPA as the minimum pay scale offered was between 4-6 LPA. The students also secured internships at organizations such as Reliance, Asian Paints, Colgate Palmolive and many other companies through which they received pre-placement offers. Mandsaur University Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. B.Tech – 10+2 with PCM with aggregate of 50% or more marks in PCM (45% for SC/ST category). This also means that one has to score valid marks in JEE Mains or any other examination for the university entrance.
2. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) – 10+2 in any stream from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks for general category students and 45% for reserved category students. No entrance test required.
3. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) – 10+2 with Maths as a compulsory subject with a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate for open category, 45 percent for the reserved category. University entrance also required for the exam.
4. B.Com – Any 10+2 examination passed with aggregate 50% marks for any group (45% for SC/ST). No entrance exam needed.
5. Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Any graduation with minimum 50% in aggregate. The CAT/MAT/XAT and university entrance test scores also necessary for the admission process.
6. Master of Computer Applications (MCA) – bachelors degree in mathematics/ statistics/ computer with minimum 50% marks. And, in addition, valid score in university entrance exam necessary.

Mandsaur University Placements 2024
Mandsaur University has placement cell which is very much functional and helps the students of university in getting placements according to their disciplines. The industries like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini actively participate in recruitment of students from the campus. According to the data of the survey conducted in 2022, the maximum number of students received up to INR 18 LPA offered by a renowned consulting company. The salary package fell between INR 3.5 to 4 LPA with some of the major recruiters being TCS, Citi bank, and ICICI bank. With regard to placement ratios, percentages above 85% were documented to be for students who met the eligibility criteria placement. A large number of recruitments were observed in the IT sector, consulting firms, automobile sector, pharma & biotech, and financial services industries, and the posts advertised were mostly technical, managerial, and research positions. There are constant struggles to enhance placement quality and offer international experience to the students through various activities.
