1. The concepts of Physics and Mathematics are mandatory while Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical vocational subjects are optional for a candidate to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination.
2. At least 45% marks in the above subjects alone are required for candidates under general category. In case of candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST category), they are required to obtain a minimum of 40% of marks in the above subjects combined.
3. Admission to B.Tech programs are given according to the merit list of the students as per the national level or state entrance exams such as JEE Main. It means that they will be admitted according to their scores or the cut off rankings given by the university.
4. To ensure they are admitted, aspirants who have not sat for any entrance test can apply based on their performance in 10+2 examination. These admissions will be made on the merit list involving the percentage of marks in 10+2.
