The diploma offered by Millia Polytechnic Purnea focus on different stream like mechanical civil electrical electronics and communication computer science and engineering information technology automobile engineering. It seems that eligibility criteria differ across departments or units. For admission into mechanical, civil electrical and other basic engineering disciplines, candidates should have passed Class 12 in science stream with physics, chemistry and maths subjects with minimum 45-50% overall percentage from any recognized board. For the computer science and IT related diploma programs the candidate must have completed Class 12th in any stream securing minimum 50% marks. Admission to Millia Polytechnic is granted on the basis of entrance tests like JCECEB Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination or on the second year Direct Admission to Class for Students having Science background or ITI Trade qualification after class XII.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. The pass certificate of the class 10th along with the date of birth.
2. The left side of the form contains information about the subjects which were taught in class 10th and the marks obtained out of hundred in each subject.
3. Transfer or leaving certificate from the school last attended
4. Character certificate from the school last attended by the candidate.
5. Recent passport size photographs
6. If he/she applies under any reserved category, the Caste certificate of the applicant.
7. Voter id card/Passport/Driving license for address and photo & signature for identity.
1. Eligibility test –For the candidate to be considered for this program, they must have passed a class X or its equivalent examination with at least thirty-five percent. Out of the seats meant for ST/SC/OBC candidates.
2. Collect the application form - Some of the application forms can be downloaded from the polytechnic institute’s website or one can get the form by physically visiting the polytechnic institute.
3. Application and payment of fee – Each requires the applicant to fill their personal and academic profile in the provided form and submit it before the due date accompanied by the application fee.
4. Polytechnic entrance test - Candidates as mentioned have to write Joint Entrance Examination conducted for polytechnic institutes by BCECEB.
5. Counselling mechanism – According to the entrance exam merit rank, the candidates are asked to come for counselling according to the schedule fixed by the university for verification of original documents and filling of choices.
6. Admission – This is the final step of the process as the candidates are alloted a seat based on their rank, choices filled, category and other criteria The candidates once allotted a seat have to complete the admission formalities.
