MNNIT Allahabad is one of the most reputed and highly recognised institutes of India, which comes under the category of National Importance Institute. Most of them requires 60% marks in the aggregate of class 12th Physics, Chemistry and Maths as the minimum eligibility. Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. JEE Main rank: This is the only consideration for admission and the more your school uses these, the better the chance of being admitted. The initial process of the selection of candidates involves ranking them according to their performance in JEE Main (Paper 1).
2. Class 12 or equivalent marks: For selection of the programs to be allocated to the candidates, the percentage secured in the Class 12 board examinations would be considered for the short-listed candidates. In any case, there is a standard minimum cut-off percentage that has to be reached.
3. Reservation: Regarding the seats for OBC/SC/ST categories, these seats will be also filled in the similar manner by choosing the respective category students according to their rank of JEE Main & their percentage in Class XII.
4. State quota: The places of origin quota is however applicable to the candidates from Uttar Pradesh and other state separately. The students are selected based on the quota as provided by each state.
5. Counselling: Candidates who qualify the final list will have to attend online / offline counselling /seessions and the seat allocation is done as per the JEE Main score, the percentage in Class XII, the category and the specialization of the course / discipline opted for by the candidate.

1. Only candidates possessing a master degree in engineering/technology in the respective discipline or its equivalent with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 are eligible for the post.
2. The position of the candidate is determined based on the GATE/NET qualification or project experience in reputed organization is preferred.

5. This means that students who meet the qualifying marks are offered places based on vacancies available in the departments of the university in each given academic year.
6. The candidates selected by the Senate will be admitted into the Ph.D programme on payment of the required fee.
1. On the MNNIT official website or the admission notification, there are specific standards that must be met for one to be considered for a Ph.D admission. Some of the things are owning a master degree in the specific area of specialization, meeting the minimum percentage among other things.
2. When there are notifications in June/July for the next session the forms for applying for the Ph.D are available on the MNNIT website.
3. See that the application form is filled in full, and ensure you enclose the necessary documents. This includes items such as photocopy of 10th/12th standard marks statement/marksheet, degree certificates for graduation/post graduation, experience certificates, if any, etc.
