Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Indore is one of the leading institutes in the field of management having a number of programs of diverse specialization. The major departments are Management Studies, Computer Applications and Data Science, Economics and Commerce, Humanities and Liberal Arts, Mathematical Science, Design and Creative Arts, Performing Arts, and Architecture. The criterion used to determine the eligibility of students also differs from course to course. For MBA, the candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks from any recognized University with valid CAT/CMAT/GMAT/NMAT Score. To be admitted to the course, candidates must produce their valid JEE Main scores and must have passed their 12th Science stream. BSc Economics and BCom require 12th passing for any stream. BA Liberal Arts does not require any entrance test whereas BDes and Bachelor of Performing Arts require the candidates to clear the NMIMS-NPAT and NPASAT aptitude test as well as 12th pass.
There are several programs which are offered by the NMIMS Indore and they are MBA, BTech, BSc, BCom, BBA, Integrated programs, BA, BDes and Bachelor of Performing Arts. The important exams are as follows: NMAT- From Oct 1st week CAT – November last week CMAT – November last week NMIMS-NPAT- January from 2nd week JEE Main – January and April NPASAT –February 1st week. To join the 2024 intakes, NMAT application is from August while CAT application is from July. The counselling occurs from April-June 2024. The selection criteria for candidates include the entrance examination scores followed by the Personal Interview and WAT/GD stages. Traditional admission offers are usually given before June, the last week of the month specifically. The academic session for new batches will commence in 3rd week of July 2024 in all courses.

For admission, interested candidates can fill the online application form available on the official website of the university by visiting nmimsindore.org or else, they can get the application form from the university in person and submit the required documents along with the completed application form.
It is an online process where the candidate has to initially, fill in some basic particulars on the website and then the application form, upload the documents and the application fee is also paid online either through net banking or debit/credit card. For offline filing of forms, the application is mostly available for download from the institute website or the candidate can visit the institute campus to pick a form. They will then need to complete it and send it to the institute along with the attested copies of their qualifying exam mark sheets, graduation certificates, recommendatory letters, and other documents as required either through hand delivery or send by post. You can also make the application fee payment through a demand draft if the application is made offline. 1. Admission Basis: The B.Tech admissions in NMIMS Indore University are based on marks in JEE Main/ MP PET/ other entrance exams for engineering or NMIMS-CET, conducted by the university itself.
2. To be eligible for the IIT JAM, the candidates must have cleared their 10+2 level or any equivalent exam from a recognized university or board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects. It requires at least 60% marks in PCM for general students and 55% for SC/ST/OBC students respectively.
3. For admission through JEE Mains/MP PET – There is an extra focus on the exam marks. Cut-off scores are announced.
4. For NMIMS-CET – The admission is done on the basis of the performance in NMIMS-CET examination and the weightage assigned for this is 75% while the weightage assigned for the %. marks in 12th PCM is 25%. Cut-off scores are announced.
5. Apart from the meeting of the cut-off marks, the final merit list is prepared as follows: Entrance test marks PCM percentage + 12th standard + preferred counselling. This means that one gets a particular seat in a vehicle depending on merit, preference and the availability of the seat.
6. While registering themselves for the respective course, the candidates are required to meet with all the requirements such as qualification standards, age restrictions, document submission and others mentioned in the admission flyer.
1. Application Mode: Application mode requires you to apply online via the University’s website. Indeed, the application process is strictly online, and there is no offline application option available.
2. Application Portal: The online admission form is available at www.nmimsindore.org, which is found by typing the URL in the location bar of the browser and then navigating to the ‘Admissions’ tab. If you are interested in any of these programs you have to choose the program of your choice and proceed with the application process.
3. Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have passed 12th standard with minimum 50% marks in PCM in order to apply for this exam. But few relaxations can be enjoyed by the students belonging to the reserved categories.
4. Application Deadline: This is usually in the month of May/June each year as stated earlier in the paper. Details of exact dates are usually given on the website.
5. Application Fee: Online applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1200 through any of the online payment methods.
6. Selection Process: Selected candidates are asked to sit for written exam and interview session is conducted for the short listed candidates. In selection rounds, students are admitted according to their merit scores in the course they are seeking to pursue.
7. Documents Required: In the course of the application, one needs to submit 10th and 12th mark sheets, academic certificates, passport photos, ID proof, etc.
- Admission for the 3-year B.Sc. course is available for students to apply through application form. programs at NMIMS Indore. The major disciplines the college provides are Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics and Life Sciences.
- Only the candidates with a pass in 12th standard with minimum 50% marks can apply. For the students belonging to the reserved category, the candidate must secure 45% aggregate marks as the minimum requirement.
- In this selection process, the candidate shall be chosen based on his/her 12th standard marks. NMIMS Indore may undertake group discussion and/or personal interview occasionally.
- The application form can be downloaded from the NMIMS website and the printout of the same has to be submitted. The application period also differs depending on the admission round that the learner wants to join.
- The deadline for the first admission round was in December of the academic year 2022. Subsequent rounds of admission will be opened again in case of availability of the empty seats. Information regarding the availability of the appointments will be posted on the website.
- The following would be the cost implications for the B.Sc: The application fee for the B.Sc is one thousand five hundred United States Dollars. Tuition fee of NMIMS Indore is Rs. 1,200 and admission fee is Rs. 1,800. There may, however, be other qualifying factors for qualifying for certain B.Sc. programs.
1. Performance in 12th board exams: This is usually assigned the highest importance level because of its significance. It should be noted that for admission to various programs candidates are required to have passed 12th with minimum aggregate as prescribed for each course. Better grades increase the probability of passing through the selection process in the 12th boards.
2. Entrance test scores: NPAT is a university level exam conducted by NMIMS for admissions. First of all, NPAT is one of the factors and good scores of NPAT are essential for the admission. The test checks logical ability, numerical, verbal and general knowledge qualifications.
3. Personal Interview: These candidates will be called for a personal interview session. The interview process has some benchmark like academic ambition, interest in subjects, extra co-curricular activity, awareness of the general environment, and personality traits of the student. From the results we noted that performance in the interview has a bearing in determination of the final list of candidates.
4. Academic profile and co-curricular activities: Other activities within school such as extra-curricular activities, prizes received in school, participation in debates or seminars and so on may be given heavier weight during the selection process.

Admission will be done on merit basis and entrance test and interview performance also taken into consideration.
6. Important Dates: The application period is from January through end of June in a given year. The written tests are conducted in June while the classes start in July.
