The National Law University and Judicial Academy Guwahati or NLUJAG provide Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in interdisciplinary fields such as BA LLB ( Hons), BBA LLB ( Hons), LLM and Doctor of Philosophy or PhD. For seeking admission in the 5-year integrated courses of BA-LLB and BBA-LLB, the candidate must have passed their class XII or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university with not less than 45% marks for the general category and 40% for ST/SC. It involves admissions based on scores provided in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). For LLM, the candidate must possess the Bachelor of Laws (LLB/BL) degree and must have secured 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
The University provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM, PhD and Diplomas under disciplines such as Business Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, International Law, Taxation Law, and Intellectual Property Rights. For the academic session 2024-25, all shall be done through the merit of the candidate in CLAT for Under Graduate programs, test for & interview conducted by NLUJAG for Post Graduate programs and entrance test & interview for Doctorial /Diploma course programs.
Process for filling up of Admission Form online Read the instructions carefully before filling up the form:
1. Original ID proof such as Aadhar card/ PAN card/ Voter ID/ Driving license/ Passport of the applicant containing name and date of birth.
2. Original or attested copy of the 10th standard mark sheet and passing certificate issued by the board containing Date of birth and marks Scored.
3. Certified true copy of the passing certificate of 12th standard along with mark list showing the marks obtained in the subjects.
4. A admit card for LLB entrance examination released by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
5. A copy of the CLAT Scorecard duly filled in by the applicant mentioning the marks obtained and the All India Rank.
6. Duly attested photograph taken in the last one month for passport size and the signature of the applicant in the prescribed format as given in the information brochure.
1. Eligibility - The candidate must have a 5-year LLB degree or 3 years LLB degree with 2 years’ work experience to appear for the examination.
2. Online mode – The candidates need to go to the official website of the particular exam and then apply through an online application form and need to give details like personal details, academic qualifications.
3. Write entrance exam - NLUJAA LET is a written test, which takes place at certain centers and comprises an entrance test for National Law University and Judicial Academy Arunachal Pradesh.
4. Interview – Candidates that obtain high scores in the entrance test are selected and interviewed by an expert board.
5. Merit list - to recruit the deserving candidates, NLUJAA provides a merit list that integrates the candidate’s performance in written examination and interview.
6. Admission Counseling – Candidates who have been selected merit list ones are given admission depending on merit rank and called for documents verification.
